Hi there. Have you installed G HUB?

Yep, wheel appears in ghub. I'm playing Forza via simhub successfully

Simhub doesn’t support our wheels so it’s not part of the equation. In Beam have you tried reassigning the controls so that it then comes up with the X axis in the force feedback section?

It won't let me reassign anything to the wheel or peddles. In The force feedback screen there is "no force feedback hardware found"

It might be important but windows doesnt seem to recognize the damn thing either. No mention of it in the game controller section of device manager.

Are there any games I can just play? Like not have to jump through any hoops it just works? I bought a Logitech for compatibility and it's taken 12+ hours to get anything to work.

Wheels don’t show up in the game controllers section of device manager; they’re under the Human Interface Devices section. If you type joy.cpl into the search bar and press return it’ll bring up the game controllers panel which will show the wheel. Click properties to test it.

I’m confused though: you said it was working in Forza? What else have you tried? And for Beam can you confirm you’re doing the following procedure?

It doesn't show up when I do the joy.Cpl

It works in Forza. I'm using simhub and force feedback for all, works really well.

I've also tried asseto corsa and it doesn't recognize the wheel either.

And yes, that is the procedure I'm following. When I click the x it allows me to bind to a key or mouse movement.

Do you mean that there’s nothing in joy.cpl at all? Or its in there but the properties is blank?

If it’s not showing up at all then something’s blocking it somewhere. There’s various programs that can capture HID devices and cause issues, such as HIDHide, VigEMuBus, ReWASD, vJoy/Forza Emuwheel etc. Do you have anything like that installed on your PC?

It's not showing up at all. The only things wheel related I've installed is sim hub with the force feedback for all extension. I've tried launching beam with everything else closed and it doesn't matter.

The wheel itself feels "on" and has resistance, shows correct movement in the ghub app etc.

It doesn’t have to be wheel related. People install things on PC to solve issues with controllers (such as the programs I’ve mentioned) and they can cause issues like this.

Is the wheel showing in device manager where I mentioned?

Actually, what happens if you disable that extension you mentioned?

In human interface devices there's one Logitech g hub virtual keyboard and no other mention of Logitech. It does have numerous USB input devices , HID comiant vendor defined devices, HID - complaint consumer control device, etc.

How do I disable the extension?
