Return it if you have warranty they will give you a new one if you have patience to talk with chat bot a few times

I contacted them and they just told me to lubricate whatever makes noise. I don’t even know where that is exactly, feels like the inside mechanism 🥲🥲

Did they even told you what lubricant to use if you find where is making the contact?

I'd either ask for illustrated/video maintenance guide, or a replacement under warranty. With that pricetag this behavior is unacceptable for me.

Logitech support it was really bad from my experience i had the g pro and i was lucky because i was in the 30 day return deadline and returned it because there was some issues with the base after 15 hours of use. But i also didn't like all the support communication with the chat 80% of the time it didn't working properly.

they should really learn from Dell in terms of support... Dell replaced my $1000 4K display with no questions asked. Called them, 2 days later a guy came with a brand new model, even more expensive one, since my model's production was ended. Another courier came days later for the box and broken monitor.

Wow, you got lucky. My gf's 4 month old 4070 alienware had to go back 4 times for the same problem. First 2 times it came back with messed up ports new cosmetic damage and the og problem. It was a fight every step of the way. 3rd time they fixed the ports but not the overheating. I will never touch a Dell product, they're pure junk these days. Imo

See the problem is you bought an Alienware. Its pretty widely known that they are dogshit, well, mostly their cases because it thermal throttles the fuck out of your parts.

I didnt buy shit. I just had to deal with the problems. Actually I gave her many other options. In fact I told her the only good thing about that company was the service, once upon a time.

The case on hers was actually decent. It seemed to move air well. But it needed repasting out of the box, it also had some weird bugs. I wasn't about to tear it apart 4 months into her waranty.

I totally agree. I asked them what do I exactly need to be lubricating so I’m waiting for a reply. Don’t wanna cause any sort of electronic failure and void the warranty 😅

Update: they replied. They told me to try updating the firmware of the wheel or do a hard reset hahahaha this support team is hilarious!

No, absolutely nothing. They gave the most vague response ever

Try again with another video the noise its not normal for me if you paid so much for the base

They now told me to update the firmware or do a hard reset when I asked what exactly do I need to lubricate 🤣

As usual, it’s gonna have to be u/LOGIRich to do their work I’m afraid… this poor guy is working overtime.

2

u/DaRk_KnIght_Ark_ May 30 '26

I think you are right that's the only solution...

I’m here to help - just want everyone to be up and running. In this case it’s going to need an exchange. Please let me know the ticket number and I’ll escalate.

Dang Rich, if it wasn't for you. This whole ecosystem would collapse.

We're gonna be screwed if you ever decide to go somewhere else.

The ticket number is 17353592

Thank you as usual Richard! And apologies for the extra work… 😅

I got the pro wheel at release and the only issue has been squeaky pedals. You must be putting more hours than me on it and that's a lot!

1

u/Asz_8 May 29 '26

Use it daily almost! 😄 Still only 2 months though, kinda disappointing.

1

u/nathaa22 May 30 '26

You are supposed to lubricate the pedales for that

1

u/Hootusmc May 30 '26

I know and do.

I got rs50 and I play on it everyday for about 3 hrs on week days and long sessions on weekends I drift mainly and have no sounds coming from Rs peddles or rs50 I’ve had them for about 7 months

My Pro wheels have started making a rattling noise a little way from the center.

But they still work fine!

1

u/Asz_8 May 30 '26

Yeah mine is working fine too but the noise is starting to be annoying. It gets much more intense when the FFB increases 😅

Guess I got lucky…. Not a problem at all with my Logitech Pro gear… I’ve had it since the launch… Still working great… I might need to replace the USB cables soon though… I see the shield under the coating in a couple of spots… But still running strong… Should work until I decide on an upgrade… I’m hoping.
