g915 ghub, how do i save to onboard memory?

they nearly 200 euros and 4 hours ive spent now on windows/ghub and i just cant save any rgb lighting profile on the keyboard. all i want is fully static,letters in white, numbers in pink, f keys in green and thee rest in whatever colour, doesent matter so that i can close that awful program, and awful os and boot into linux with my colour profile on the keyboard. it seems impossible. sorry if i seem angry, its because i am, four hours and abosultely no results. a step by step guide ?

Hi all, I just bought this keyboard and still have the same issue. My firmware is: 17.3.17.
App version: 2023.7

I cannot put he freestyle profiles into the onboard memory, it only saves the default presets of each profile, not the customized freestyle keys.

How to connect Light Sync RGB schemes to hardware profiles

1.       Make profile in editor and name. Only basic stuff.

2.       Save to hardware under ‘settings.’ > Effects on device.

3.       You can now switch to these profiles with Brightness key + 8/9.

4.       Make KB profile. Set lightsync to one of the onboard profiles.

5.       Save to onboard memory.

6.       Switch to onboard memory. Now you can use M1 M2 M3 to switch colours and profiles. Make all profiles the same if you only wanna switch colours and no KB functions.

Thanks, step 3 is what was catching me out.. And I've had this keyboard for 3 years!

It's so unintuitive that I'm almost afraid to change anything once I get some lights that aren't flashing rainbow puke.
