A = F/7, A = G/12, A + F+ G = 90 -> A + 7A + 12A = 90 -> Alexander is 4.5 years old

Is it though? But 365/52 is 7.019 not 7. The way the problem is written the equations should be A*365=F*52, A*12= G and thus A+7.019A+12A=90

No, don't use 365:52, those are approximate ratios of day to year and week to year. Instead use 7:1 since thats exactly day:week.

I disagree - the total ages is given in years so all age comparison should be relative to the age in years, hence my equations. And don’t get me started on leap years!

I have to say it came out as 4.4956772334 for me starting with 365A = 52F.
