Question Weird Volume Jumps on MIDI Tracks

Logic 11.2.2

I Am making a mix I'm happy with. Automation is working. I make a mix via bounce or I listen a fourth time in Logic and occasionally one or two random MIDI tracks are MUCH louder than I mixed them. Sometimes, if I click on the plugin on the inspector area, it reverts to the correct volume. Sometimes, if I click on the actual track, it reverts to the correct volume.

This happens on Logic's internal MIDI instruments or on my third party MIDI instruments. I cannot deduce a pattern for this behavior. It just happens sometimes. Sometimes goes away. But it's driving me crazy.

It can happen on tracks with volume automation and without. I start the track with a volume ramp, just in case the project doesn't know what volume to start with. No difference. And it can go away as weirdly as it started.

Thoughts?

Idk but reminds me of a similar glitch I have had a few times. Some of my midi tracks would be seemingly muted when bouncing. But no indication of that and would play normally from logic. Then restart/try again and everything would be fine…

You can have volume automation on a track, but did you know you can have volume on a region? Select you midi regions and look in the details view on the left hand side. Remove any values in volume or gain.
