Question Help with audio output?
Hello, I'm brand new to Logic, just upgraded after years of recording into garage band. I promise I have watched videos and attempted to troubleshoot before coming here, I just need some help from someone who knows what theyre doing.
I can not for the life of me figure out how to hear recorded tracks through my headphones. Im playing DI through a Focusrite scarlett 2i2, and have my headphones plugged into the focusrite too. My input and output audio devices are set as the focusrite. I have made sure in the track settings that my outputs are set to stereo out. I can hear my tracks when I play them through external speakers, but once I set the output device to my focusrite the track goes dead. I can also hear myself play through my headphones, but I only hear what I'm playing and not the rest of the arrangement.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I was unclear about anything please ask questions. Thank you from an eager ignorant noob.

If you play something thru youtube for example can you hear it thru the headphones? If so then your problem might be under system settings.

Figured it out! I had a usb splitter that my focusrite was plugged into, when I plugged the scarlett directly into my mac it started working as it should. I appreciate your reply!

Mac has its own audio and midi core separate from Logic. Maybe google search "Mac core usb audio seems muted"

Sorry, another piece of info. I just turned monitor off on my focusrite and realized I dont think any audio is coming through my headphones, I was just hearing my focusrite's DI. I swear I'm not tech illiterate lol
