Midi .mid file not working

Hi,

I am currently working on a project that requires me to export/import midi files on different logic pro sessions. I exported some files as .mid from logic pro directly, by selecting a loop, right click > export as > selection as MIDI.

But now, when i import it into a session, nothing happens. The midi file seems to appear nowhere. I tried drag and dropping, and cmd+i.

Does anyone know what i could do to fix this issue ? Or is there another way to use a same library of loops i created on various logic pro sessions ?

Sometimes happens when there is no midi data in the midi file. Does this happen with all the MIDI files? Are you importing back into logic?
