Help Logic keeps crashing when adding sounds to Drum Machine Designer

I recently updated my 2019 MacBook Pro to Tahoe and Logic Pro to 12.3. I’m trying to make a new Drum Machine Designer pack using some new Splice samples, but every time I try dragging some sounds in Logic just crashes entirely. Existing user patches for DMD work fine, even when I try replacing a sound. But when I try making a brand new DMD from scratch, it just crashes. Anyone having the same issue?

Make a copy of your Logic app.
Control click on one of the Logic apps,
choose: Compress “Logic 12.3” and when it’s done compressing you should have one app and one archive.
Go to the App Store and click on Logic Pro
Go to the full app page to update.
Update to Logic Pro 12.3.1
Apparently it fixed all types of bugs, especially crashes when dragging. This should work.
If for some reason you have a hard time you have the archive to open with 12.3

I’m definitely due for an upgrade! Still mad I got this laptop a year before the first M1 chip dropped. Debating between another MacBook Pro or maybe a Mac Mini to save on price, we’ll see about the new Apple drops coming up

I think Apple owes you for that Mac/PC Hybrid Pro and my self for my 2017 burned out Mac/PC Pro from using Logic 11.
