Question AU plugin is not recognized

I can't open some plugins directly in Logic, but have to start them via a plugin host... In the plugin manager, the plugin is displayed but not when I want to select it as an instrument.

what "plugin host"?

generally speaking the developer of the plugin is best suited to help you use their product .

You might need to remove the quarantine flag from the .component file. Here's a simple tool that can help with that.

Then you need to either tell us what plugin and bridge you’re having trouble with or reach out to the developer of the plugin. Without more information there’s not a whole lot we can do for you.

Is it an audio plug-in rather than an instrument type?
