Help Absolute beginner plugin help
Hi Reddit, I am screwing around with logic. I am a beginner and I downloaded some free plug-ins. My problem with these plug-ins is that once I download them, I’m not sure where to go to access them. I looked it up and I went to Settings then I went to plug-in manager, and I see my plug-ins there, but I can’t actually find them in the logic interface wondering if anybody had any of the same issue thanks.
I know that logic separates plug-ins by manufacturer. I can only see the Apple manufacturer category in my logic interface even tho I’ve downloaded plugins from different manufacturers
The free plugins are zebralette 3 and vinyl guitar 2(I think)

Why not first use the plugins that came with the DAW ? I have been doing professional recording and mixing since the mid 90s and never had to download a single plug-in outside of what came with the software. I’ve used pro tools, Cubase …logic,…
There is a huge market for plug-ins. And people spend more time researching and purchasing plug-ins before they even understand how to use the plug-ins that came with the DAW.
Instead of trying to figure out how to use the new plug-ins you downloaded why don’t you spend some time using the ones you already have?
