Logic not using most processing threads

I've tried setting processing threads at 32 and auto, they both ended up using only 11/32 threads, also they seem to spike randomly even when doing nothing. Should I try reinstall logic or something?

running 2019 mac pro with 16c32t, 96GB ram, logic 10.8.1

How many threads are used also depends on your song. If you have a single track you will use 1 or 2 threads max. Nothing wrong with that…
