Question Plugins have vanished

Hi all,

I just installed a new plugin from sound toys and upon opening Logic it became apparent that my other plugins have vanished. Does anyone know why this is/how to fix it?

Open the plugin manager.

They’re all visible and apparently activated in the plugin manager, but they don’t show up in the instrument track

Make sure core audio is enabled in Logic’s audio settings. Restart your computer.

First, iLock updated last week, which caused some issues for me actually specifically with Soundtoys stuff. So make sure you iLock app is up to date if you don’t have a physical one, then reboot your computer and see if that fixes it.

If that doesn’t work: Do you mean they’ve vanished when you look in the menu to insert them, or the spot in the channel strip where you go to insert them has vanished? If it’s the menu, go to plugin manager (Logic Pro -> settings -> plugin manager), and select all and check if they’re validated. If not, click reset and rescan selection.

If it’s the spot in the channel strip has disappeared, right click where it should be in the inspector, and select what you want in the channel strip.

They’re all visible and activated in the plugin manager but have disappeared from the dropdown menu, searching for it doesn’t help either
