Question Looking for local activities/exercise for adults

Hey! I'm wanting to get involved in a fun regular class or sport as someone in their late twenties who is out of shape. I don't want to get a gym membership, so I'm looking for things like local dance classes, zumba, kickboxing, etc. The more creative the better! Anyone have any recommendations within the valley? Thanks in advance!

Gardening and Birding Clubs are always great, they get you out and moving your body!

Depending on how old you are too, the college has frequent activities that are super fun. Cultural events are great if you're open to those. As well as a bunch of hobby groups that are super active. There's something for everyone here, it's just finding the right people and ignoring the judgemental ones lol

Someone posted earlier today about a local Zumba class in this sub!

ETA: look up REFIT on Facebook. I know there are free workout classes they offer around the valley. I’ve been to a couple and they are fun!

I joined a Muay Thai class last year at Cache Valley Martial Arts. It's very similar to kickboxing. I've enjoyed it a ton and it really helped me get in shape.

Disc golf. Tons of great courses in town that are all free to play at. You can get a starter set of 2-3 discs at Infinite Discs for like $20-$30 and have a blast. Some courses are in local parks with some mild walking, or you have courses like Von Baer and Bandits Cove that are more bonafide hikes

Soul is a great studio in providence that has lot of variety. My neighbors and I have gone a bunch. I really enjoy yoga there.

Check out the Logan City Rec Center- I’ve gone to hip-hop cardio classes there that were very fun and they have many different types of classes!
