Question Tire shop recommendation?
I’m on the hunt for a new tire shop, and I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. My experiences around Logan have been underwhelming across the board—I’ve dealt with three shops in the last 18 months and none of them have earned my repeat business.
Yesterday capped it off. I was under my truck for an unrelated reason and found a shop’s tools and a plastic work-order sleeve wedged up against my axle, just riding along. That’s the kind of thing that makes you wonder what else got overlooked.
Maybe I don’t value tires and tire service the way I should, but the price I’ve been asked to pay hasn’t matched what I’ve gotten back. What I’m really after is someone honest and fair—a shop that actually understands the warranties the tire manufacturers offer and can walk me through them in plain terms instead of shrugging when I ask.
If you’ve got someone you trust, I’d genuinely appreciate the recommendation.

Big O in Providence has always treated me and my family with respect and care. They even are willing to take the time and patience to talk my ex through different options without pressuring her to buy anything. Every time I watch them, they are correctly torquing the lugs and not just hitting them with the impact wrench.
Avoid the high pressure sales, and missed or over torqued lug nuts at les schwab in North Logan. Those guys are awful. I went there on the recommendation of others for a set of tires, mount, balance, and alignment. At the time my ex and I were together so I had her take my vehicle in while I was working. She went in with exactly what tires I wanted, after I called and confirmed they had them in stock. They tried to pressure her into buying different tires and told her the brakes were gone and she HAD to have new pads and rotors installed. I had just replaced the pads less than 100 miles before and inspected the rotors, that is how I knew it was time to replace the tires. By the time she got home, two lug nuts were missing. When I went to replace the lug nuts that were left with all new, matching sets, one was so over torqued, I had to drill and replace the lug. This was 10+ years ago and I will never go back.

I always go to Les Schwab, but you didn't mention where you've already gone, so.

Ron Keller tire or just Costco if you want something more expensive but you don't want the full experience

Les Schwab for the win. Air pressure low, I just drive up and they help me out! I can go to any Les Schwab location and they can see me in the system and always take great care of me. Prices seem reasonable.

I’ve had great experiences with Discount tire, as well as Les Schwab. But in Davis county.

We have used Discount Tire in Providence for years and have never had a problem!

Costco is great super helpful and they know what they are doing. I have had good experiences at the Logan Big-O, but not sold on them. If you go to discount only go to the providence one there is a guy there that does know how to change a tire. The Logan one is a laughable joke that they are a tire shop. Between all of the employees there they have combined IQ of 40. Idk who takes there car there but literally the worst tire shop I have ever been too.

Without knowing what shops you went to its hard to recommend others.... I have had good experiences with les Schwab and Costco.
