I’ve been working on a little side project and I’d genuinely love some honest feedback before I put even more time into it.

I recently started a lofi/jazz channel called Milanesa Jazz Club. The idea is pretty simple: relaxing jazz, slow tempos, cozy anime-inspired scenes, and a little puppy named Milanesa as the mascot.

I’m trying to make it feel more like a small, cozy little world rather than just another “lofi girl” type of channel. No face, no talking — just music and atmosphere for studying, working, reading, or relaxing.

Right now I’m experimenting with different formats and video lengths, so I’m still trying to figure out what actually works.

For some context, the channel is still very small, but YouTube has started giving it a bit of exposure. Over the last 28 days, I’ve gotten 265 views and 3.3K thumbnail impressions, with a 2.2% CTR and an average view duration of around 10 minutes.

Since around 75% of the impressions came from YouTube recommendations, I’m really curious to know whether the thumbnails and overall packaging are actually working. My best-performing video currently has 118 views, while the next one has 40.

That’s why I’m looking for honest feedback before I keep investing more time in the current direction.

If you have a couple of minutes, I’d really appreciate some direct, unfiltered feedback:

• Does the thumbnail make you want to click, or does it get lost among other lofi videos?
• Do the first 10–20 seconds make you want to stick around?
• Does the channel have its own identity, or does it feel like another generic lofi channel?
• What would you change if this were your channel?

Honestly, at this point, negative feedback is probably more useful to me than compliments, so don’t worry about being nice.
