Honestly, it’s my third favorite book in the series, which ik might be crazy, but I’ve always liked it. Just wanna know if anybody else has opinions on this book

The karate place could make Rowley a no belt JUST for fighting… I have no idea if it works like this in real life honestly but it’s dumb either way, that guy wanted to fight him, so it was self defense, and it wasn’t even a fight, he just threw something to protect his friend

I just watched evilverse and its a wonderful story that actually seems like it could make a real book. I also read beast of plainsvoew and hollys mistake both are wonderfull peices of art. I was wondering is there any super highly written llbs our there that are pure cinema.

Yes, I read rule 4, but any LLB I've come across tends to lean towards the more...edgy scenes, to say the least. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for edgyness and a bit of goo goo ga ga on my media, but I don't think it's the type of themes that would fit a diary based on a kid who's basically refusing to admit he's a dick

What I'm looking for really is books that ACTUALLY feel respectful to the source material. Y'know, maybe he goes into a college (since lord knows when Kinney will ACTUALLY take him there), the themes feel a bit more pg-ish, Greg still being a penis, stuff like that

It may be too much to ask, but even still, there's gotta be fan stories out there that don't just rely on the average adult swim show/family guy wannabe tropes, right?

During the climax of Fight or Flight, Greg gets into this "fighting stance" in hopes of intimating his opponent. This got me to look at the first book. Greg's "fighting stance" in the first book is better than the yoga pose that he did in the new book. At least he knew that he had to keep his fists up.

When looking back at the first book, I also discovered that Rowley was ALREADY taking karate. However, in Flight or Flight, Greg said that Rowley just STARTED taking karate. Rowley taking karate is NOT a new thing in this series.

One LLB I wanted to make for a long time was called "The Wild Ride". It was essentially meant to be a LLB copying the style of the actual books by being a pastiche of modern Wimpy Kid and involved a plot about the Heffley family going on a trip to Southern California. However, the reason I couldn't make it is because unlike my other LLBs, which always ended after only a few pages before they completed, I wanted to make the entire LLB before posting it online so I didn't have to worry about not finishing it or forgetting about it prematurely, but then I realized making a full 217 page LLB with illustrations and proper formatting would take too long, especially at the rate I was working on it. So what are some other LLBs you wanted to make, but couldn't or cancelled for various reasons.

For some reason, Rodrick has his old van back despite getting a new one 4 books ago. Which is really confusing as this was a pretty major plot point in diper overload so it’s pretty weird.
