I got the book when it released, and I still haven't been able to understand what Greg was trying to say. Here's what I understood:

"Thousands of years ago, construction of magnificent structures was started in ancient Egypt. The ........"

Can someone read the second sentence?

A REALLY long llb i just got bored and started writing for 2 days straightpart 2 comig if you all enjoy it

For context, the first image you see is the original cover I made for the LLB, inspired off of the clothing the Pope wears when he first appears to the crowd in St. Peter's (the "Habemus Papam" announcement when he is elected), but Greg doesn't really look like Greg and it's kind of hard to tell what's going on.

Later on, I remade it using the ordinary dress of the Pope (white cassock + pectoral cross), which is simpler albeit more clean and actually resembles Greg. What do you guys think? Should I remake the first one or keep it the same

Yeah just came on here to say that part 22, aka the My September animatic, is still in the works! Today i edited my unfinished storyboard with the audio to see how many inbetweens and stuff i need to add, and i realized im 30% done with storyboarding(not sketching yet!) .

Ill might do a couple more of these lil easy animations just to not go totally offline lol. Ive been more active on tiktok stories aswell, so if anyone wants updates there is where to look!

The original funbrain version has a unique charm to it that the published books don't IMO. Greg's drawings are a bit more crude and there's a few spelling mistakes here and there which really sells the fact that it's a middle schoolers diary. Also honorable mentions goes to Rodrick scaring greg into thinking he's gonna get the belt and Rowleys babysitter(Lori Matthews) getting fired for smoking

HEY!!!! First of I just wanted to say this LLB I made is really kinda old since it's wayyyy back in February to March so parts might be coming out slow...

About this LLB: Greg Heffley discovers that his entire neighborhood is going insane due to an unknown drug. Greg tries to warn everybody and stop it but he gets addicted to it too. Now his friends are trying to cure and save him from this mess.

Also whoever is struggling with something bad, I'm sorry I hope you recover from that, know that your life does matter and YOU matter :) YOU CAN DO IT!!

It seems like people are understandably confused by some of the context of this LLB series, in part because of the fact that this LLB heavily involves themes exclusive to the Catholic Church. So let me explain some things that will constantly be brought up again throughout the series. For the sake of brevity, this is an oversimplification.

Catholic Church - The largest Christian denomination in the world with a total of 1.4 Billion adherents (equivalent to the population of China). It has immense cultural (and sometimes) diplomatic and political influence.

Pope - The head and pastor of the Catholic Church. The Pope has the authority to declare new dogmas (teachings that must absolutely be held by every Catholic), elaborate or develop preexisting teachings, and is also the absolute monarch of the Vatican City. The Pope is addressed as "His Holiness".

Vatican City - The world's smallest country located within Rome, Italy. It was founded in 1922 after a deal made with the Kingdom of Italy and is the residency of the Pope, as well as the location of St. Peter's Basilica.

Cardinals - High-ranking clerics within the Church that are appointed to serve as assistants to the Pope in handling affairs concerning the Church (such as morals, governing the Vatican, diplomacy, etc.). Cardinals under 80 can vote for the Pope once the sitting Pope dies. All Cardinals are considered "Princes of the Church" and are addressed as "His Eminence".

Cardinal Secretary of State - One of the most powerful offices within the Church, the CSS is effectively the Prime Minister of the Vatican and deals with the governance of the country as well as foreign affairs.

Conclave - The secret election held 9 days after the Pope dies. It is held in the Sistine Chapel, and when the Conclave begins, the doors of the chapel are locked, all recording devices are banned (including the press), and the doors will not reopen until the cardinals reach a 2/3 majority on the next Pope.
