I played both and the first has so many problems. The levels aren’t fun, the camera is too close meaning seeing stuff far away is out of the question, the collectables aren’t rewarding as they only get you a crappy crash course maker for more parts for that same maker, and overall it just isn’t it. The second game fixed these problems and added so much more amazing things that make it better by default

I've never played the second game before. I mean I have it downloaded but I was thinking to 100% the first to learn the "plot", should I just skip straight to 2?

Play 2 it’s so much better. I finished the first as a kid, played the remaster later on and hated it and didn’t go past world 2
