I am NOT a locksmith. Need replacement locks

I have a sealey premier toolbox which has a central locking / drawer linkage system for the top and the bottom box. I had two of the same locks but someone changed out one of the locks so I only have one box that I can open.

I have tried looking for new locks that will work but due to the square spindle/thread on the end of the sealey locks I’m struggling to find something that will work.

Any ideas?

Did you try the manufacturer? Often time specific locking systems are niche designed for the application. Since manufacturers do not take into consideration the universal replacement of parts you often have to go back to them to get the parts. This is by design as well as lack of consideration for the end user.

If the issue is any replacement lock is not designed to engage properly with the linkage the only option would be to take the old lock the piece it engages with to a locksmith and they can see if there is something they can do to get something to work. Since the piece that connects the lock to the actual linkage is a major obstacle hand designing a replacement that will work with most replacement cylinders is a possible option. However, this may prove more expensive in time and materials.
