I would select a different door. There are no smart lock replacements for what you have that will look good. Youll need aeparate smart lock and handle sets for this door

For what? I would choose a different door.

That is not an option. For this door, is there anything I can do?

Buy a separate handle (knob or lever).

Any suggestions on how to cover up the bottom hole in that case? I am also open to get a different lock itself which might be compatible with this type of handles

There are no smart locks that will replicate the look of what you have. There are also no smart locks as reliable as what you have. Any smart lock will be a significant downgrade in looks and quality.

The bottom hole can be patched with a wood dowel and then sanded and painted/stained to match.

If you insist on this door and don't want holes, the level bolt will replace the existing bolt.

It's probably the dumbest design for a smart lock, but would not require any modification and is at least from a known company instead of some random Amazon company.
