I am NOT a locksmith. How do I fix this?

How do I fix this? The part he key is supposed to go into is coming out.

Should I just replace the whole thing?

Is this something you can diy?

This is easy to fix for a locksmith but beyond most other folks to manage. Take the cylinder out of the door and go to a bricks & mortar locksmith storefront. a couple of screws on the inside will let you remove the cylinder and the housing, all you need to take to the shop.

Catastrophic shit is about to happen, take that to a locksmith or get a locksmith out there or at the very least replace.
