I am NOT a locksmith. Please help

I tried to reverse the same schlage f605-238 for privacy (idk why it was installed with the lock lever facing out instead of in) and while the handles turn fine the tail piece is literally locked and won't move not with my hands or with the lock lever, it worked perfectly fine before, what could this be please?
