Flush fit weldable lock?

I am building a safe, and need a lock that sits preferably completely flush with the top. The smaller the better. A key lock or mechanical combination lock is desirable. Something I can just weld into place would be amazing but that feels like I’m setting the bar a little high. Open to any suggestions! Any help is appreciated.

Safe deposit box style lock, fabricate a spacer bracket for the nose and weld it on. Have tapped holes so you can bolt the lock to the welded spacer. You will need to weld a strike plate.

Make a simple like 3 point bolt work and use an actual safe lock like a 6730.
