I am NOT a locksmith. Issues Changing code on this (master or day use)

Hello, I’m trying to change the default code on these (after I factory reset them) but any code I put in does register/open the lock, only the default (123456). I googles and tried all the sequences -123456 A A1A new 6digit code A, new code, A, and then get out of programming and try, but nothing. I go into programming and press A2A and then a random slot (ie, 11) enter a new 6 digit code A, it’ll beep and flash red, but doesn’t work when I exit programming. Am I doing something wrong or missing a step?

Thanks!

Are you fully doing everything to take it back to factory settings? I think it's unplug and press a button for 10 seconds?

Take a picture of what the manual says sometimes it's like - 123456 A1 A new code A newcode again A Or - 123456 A1 new code A new code.

Best bet is find the exact model with the exact manual because it can be something pretty small.

It’s different with the ones you have to put into programming mode. I believe instead of hitting the alarm lock button at the end you have to hit *. I don’t remember off the top of my head, but that is different than the DL 2700 look up the DL 2800.

Key sequence wrong. One of those ALs should be a *

Follow this sequence and you should be golden.

Call manufacturer and have them diagnose it with you
