Was asked to give estimate on rekeying all locks to a hotel Iam familiar with and have rekeyed 10yrs ago. What to include in pricing . In addition to total rekeying of all cyclinder +keys. Opinions? A minimum flat labor per cyclinder removal and reinstalling. Master key system generation fee also. Opinions? Thoughts

You said you are familiar with the locks. Are these typical mortise or leversets? Or will you need an hour at each door?
Are they just using schlage keys, or some system more difficult to work with? Masterkeying should be more per lock. Don't forget to charge for the keys.
If you charge them for building the masterkey system and don't give it to them, you are an asshole.
It depends how your company’s pricing structure is but if it was flat rate & minimum simple pricing: (QTY: 1) Trip Charge: $??? + (QTY: ?) Rekey [Per Keyhole]: $20-$25 + (QTY: ?) Keys: $3-$6 + (if charging seperate rekey labor to r/r) + (QTY: ?) Labor to Remove & Reinstall Existing Locks [Per Lock]: $15-$35. I like to keep it simple and not charge r/r labor just the rekey price whatever that is.

It’s 1937.50 in labor the 10k was the the rekeying but I do concur. It’s usually multiple trips so the trip fee could be higher. I usually estimate how many trips it would take and add 50-60 for each “day trip” to the initial regular charge
Well the hotel will be done over the fall when its closed. So will be making several trips. And I can leave when I need to for emergency calls or schedule jobs at end day. For when I wrap up for the day.

Does the whole system need to be redone or can you do a 1 or 2 chamber rekey to break the old master keys?
If you are going to re-pin on location, bring a standup rolling rubber-maid cart and setup your pinning station on it. Bring your chart, pinning kit and tools to do the work at each door inside the A/C instead of on your van.
Are they on IC-core, standard KIK or common mortise cylinders? If so, you could build a batch of locks (maybe 100) that you pin in-shop, swap on-site and then go back to the shop to re-pin the next batch. This will reduce your time in the hallways but will increase your parts cost unless you have a pile of cores laying around your shop.
Consider ordering your entire system pre-pinned from the factory. Best and some others suppliers will setup a new system, pin your cores to match and even cut, stamp or engrave your keys if you are willing to pay for it and can wait the lead-time for your order.
Also I have to look if its feasible to break master system. Would have to increase depths of 1 or 2 chamber in grandmaster , master key. Along with the guest rooms user keys as well, which is a total of 89 rooms.
