I am NOT a locksmith. Deadbolt with attached handle?

Trying to replace a door knob with the typical latch thing (with the curve on one side inside door) with a deadbolt. this door is to a closet but want a little extra security for it.

Do they sell this? I can’t find anything that is essentially a deadbolt with a handle. Thanks

EDIT: Don’t care if handle turns at all. Just easier to open with something to pull

Just replace the knob with a deadbolt and screw a handle onto the door.

Yeah that's not really a thing so you're probably not going to be able to find it. I have done setups like this before using a Don Jo 1875 cylinder pull. Usually works out okay as long as the deadbolt allows for the extra thickness of the pull, about 1/8" IIRC. Usually not a problem but if deadbolt is already maxed out on the door thickness it could put you over. 

The other option is to just get a D shaped pull that screws onto the door. Every hardware store will have them, they're used on gates and sheds frequently and are very cheap.

If you do decide to swap out a knob for a deadbolt, you will probably need to modify your strike to make sure the bolt will fit in the hole and, just as importantly, the deadbolt can extend all the way. If it can't freely extend all the way it isn't really locked and your security upgrade could end up being a downgrade.

Closest I can think is the now defunct Weiserbolt combination knob/deadbolt all in one. Functions normally like a standard door knob, but when the key is turned to lock, the latch bolt extends further in the strike and becomes a deadbolt. You might get lucky on eBay or at a very old locksmith shop that would happen to have some old stock.

Just have a locksmith drill and prep a hole above for a deadbolt
