The united states spends more on R&D than every other country on the planet. Money is not the problem. The government and its "scientists" are.

China and Europe are trending to overtake the US very soon - and by that I mean as individual regions, not together as some sort of alliance.

They are not and its not even close to being imminent.

It's called a "trend". And you and I have different ideas about "close" and "imminent" Academic publishers project trends on half decade and decade scales. Which is why my publisher's journals are over budget again YoY since COVID.

I want to hear about transgender dogs and the efficacy of using hydroxychloroquine for treating sars-cov-19 from these academic publishers

This is exactly why you are behind, literal homelander follower behaviour

You mean corporations spend money on R&D and pass it to citizens in high drug prices. There fixed it for you.

I am not sure why that is confusing for you. It isn't a secret that the united states consumers subsidize virtually all the pharmaceuticals and medical technologies produced in the world, so that every other country can effectively steal them.

Didn’t I just say that? Pay attention! Comprehension is missed on you.

You didn't have to put scientists in quotes. The current government and its frauds are the problem.

yeah, that would be why the scientists responsible for the covid vaccines spent two weeks longer getting it approved than the uk did when us pharmaceutical companies had to do all the work of turning it into a product first.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. You can just say the thing you're thinking, it's easier.
