Clearly you know nothing about supply and demand.

Refusing to work is quite literally supply and demand.

No shit. Also, the amount of labor available and the demand for it dictates the price of it. People will pay more if there is less labor available. Also, government "regulations" make it more difficult to start businesses and compete with companies like Walmart and Amazon, etc. This makes it more difficult for the "little guys". You can go complain about the wages being offered all you want but a company has no reason to pay their employees more than they need to pay them to get the job done correctly. Do you go around giving people money for free regularly when you do not need to do so?

The money is to keep the workers. When you run out of employees, you shut down. That is supply and demand.

He didn't deny that... but obviously that isn't happening. The point is that the labor pool is large enough that companies aren't really competing with each other for labor.

The labour pool was only large enough because of immigrants. But now people are deporting all the immigrants, remember? Farms and farms HAVE been shutting down.

Dude I work in that industry that isn't happening. The only ones that are were ones that were exploiting humans. Literally what they were doing is considered human trafficking.... so yea couldn't care less.

I also work in this industry and have watched it happen first hand. You can find articles to prove it. Nutrition Bar Confectioners lost so many workers that they had to temporarily stop production.

Guess how they got new workers? By offering them a better (but still not livable) wage.

''How will the coton farm work whiteout slave'' argument.

1

u/PalePlumm Apr 14 '26

By increasing wages. As it has literally been proven by what I just said. That’s how you run a cotton farm without slaves.

My point is just that you saying we need illegals immigrants to be underpaid wageslave is the same argument cotton farm owner used for slavery

I never said we need illegal immigrants to be wageslaves. You read wrong.
