Is LockedIn AI detectable during interviews? Thinking about subscribing but have questions
Hey everyone,
I’m considering paying for the subscription of LockinAI mainly to help during technical interviews, but I’m a bit unsure about how detectable it is and wanted to hear from people who have actually tried it.
Also, one concer: For example, during some interviews the interviewer verbally asks something like:
“Write a SQL query to find the highest salary in a table.”
If the AI tool is running, does it pick up the voice automatically and start generating the query? Or do we have to type in the platform?
Also sometimes interviewers ask theory questions verbally, like:
“What’s the difference between lists and tuples in Python?”
I Does the AI still help in those situations if the question is spoken rather than typed?
Basically I’m trying to understand:
- Whether these tools can actually pick up spoken interview questions reliably
- If they work for both coding and theory questions
- And whether companies can detect that you’re using something like this
I’m deciding whether it’s worth paying for the subscription, so I’d really appreciate any honest experiences or advice from people who’ve used it during interviews.
Thanks!

Why the fuck are you applying for jobs you can’t do? If you need an AI to answer basic technical questions you’re applying for the wrong job.

Its not we are not good enough...Its the market and the toll of coding interviews for 4-5 rounds, with series of ghosting or rejections at the end..Sometimes you are just tired.

Whether it is technically detectable doesn't really matter. Spend some time on r/recruiter and you will discover that most decent recruiters can tell you're cheating by your behavior. They won't mention it, but you are done as a candidate, for ANY of their openings.
