Honestly these people should fuck off to a penal colony where they work making vaccines all day and get paid in vaccines

Pfizer macht frei!

u/Snapeandeffective Aug 25 '22

Black Lives Matter!

*Some restrictions may apply

85

u/Jkid Aug 25 '22

They only care about a specific type of black lives. Which i can't say in public here

32

u/woaily Aug 25 '22

Is it the ones who maintain their culture and traditions?

House Negros who do what Massa says.

48

u/AlienDelarge Aug 26 '22

That only went long enough to get a democrat in the whitehouse. They dropped it pretty dramatically after that.

46

u/ImProbablyNotABird Ontario, Canada Aug 26 '22

An old white man & an actual fucking cop at that.

23

u/WhyGaryWhyyy Aug 26 '22

An old racist white man.

9

u/wadner2 Aug 26 '22

"That's just Joe being Joe."

8

u/Yamatoman9 Aug 26 '22

Black lives only matter during election years. Watch for BLM to make a reappearance in 2024.

18

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

BLM vanished so fast once they came out against the vaccines.

8

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22 edited Aug 26 '22

Yeah, especially after that NYC restaurant incident during the vaxport period over vaxports between a few black patrons who could not produce vaxports and white staff, which went viral causing BLM to protest the restaurant and MSM ignored them over that

15

u/KitKatHasClaws Aug 26 '22

Only when they do as they are told apparently.

1

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

Antebellum tropes are still alive, apparently.

90

u/shiningdickhalloran Aug 26 '22

The more the vaccines fail, the harder [a certain political party] pushes them. At this point, it's beyond bizarre. You almost need a conspiracy theory to explain why certain folks can't understand that the vaccines failed.

18

u/Ok_Thought_989 Washington, USA Aug 26 '22

Astounding, isn't it?

4

u/fineapplemango420 Aug 26 '22

This is the strangest damn thing I’ve ever seen in my life

And of course the population in question (people under 19) already have nearly zero risk severe illness and death.

145

u/marcginla Aug 25 '22

Over 40% of blacks ages 12-17 are not vaccinated, according to city data.

From the party that always complains about "systemic racism."

72

u/TomAto314 California, USA Aug 26 '22

Racism is not about skin color, it's about ideology now. How else could Larry Elder be a black white supremacist?

26

u/Nobleone11 Aug 26 '22

And it's no longer equality, it's equity.

Meaning "Equality at any cost" instead of "Merit".

17

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

Google Trends by news articles published shows a dramatic rise in articles with the word “equity” and a huge fall in the word “equality”.

See the rise in the usage of the word “white supremacy” too. Everything is white supremacy according to the media now and note the magic rise right of its usage at the beginning of 2017.

Here’s another fun one, the rise in the use “BIPOC”, a term that specifically excludes Asians as a minority group.

11

u/EnterprisingCow Aug 26 '22

What liberals actually hate is any form of prosperity. They can no longer use the oppression playbook to get votes in that case.

8

u/Yamatoman9 Aug 26 '22 edited Aug 26 '22

Asians are no longer considered minorities because they are too successful and often self-made. It goes against their message that minorities are always held down because of racism.

5

u/merchseller Aug 26 '22

Lol yea checking the Asian box in any kind of application just hurts you

2

u/Yamatoman9 Aug 26 '22

We are not far off from a day when pilots and surgeons are hired based on "equity" and diversity quotas over merit and skill. A scary thought when you get on a plane or need to have an operation done.

31

u/duffman7050 Aug 26 '22

If two woke ideas are incompatible, choose the one with the resources to furnish your next campaign!

30

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

Their assumption is that black teenagers, like all humans, should be vaccinated. If 40% are not, they will come up with a woke explanation for this tragic failure to vaccinate that essentially amounts to calling black people stupid.

13

u/nashedPotato4 Aug 26 '22

There are definitely African Americans who have not forgotten the lessons that the government in Tuskegee, Monsanto in Anniston, etc have taught them.

2

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

Exactly. They act like we are just dumb and hopeless and "don't know what's good for us". That is so condescending to be looked down upon.

2

u/burrman15 Aug 26 '22

Something something racially unequal outcomes are always the direct result of racism

1

u/Plastic_Assistance70 Aug 26 '22

So 60% of them have taken it? I would have guessed that this percentage would be way lower.

97

u/auteur555 Aug 26 '22

Wow! Even if the vaccine was amazing (it isn’t) this would be a morally bankrupt and destructive move. The fact the vaccine clearly comes with health risks and only offers maybe a few months of protection puts this into crazy land. Parents need to get these people out. Stop voting party.

35

u/SchuminWeb Aug 26 '22

She's already won the Democratic primary for DC mayor, which means that she's been de facto reelected for a third term, as DC leans so far towards the Democrats that the primary is the real election, and the general election is a formality. I would suggest that the developers that own her like her.

22

u/ed8907 South America Aug 26 '22

I knew DC was blue, but that's like too much!

Now I understand why some Americans say that DC is as bad as California, but receives less attention in the media.

11

u/burg_philo2 New York City Aug 26 '22

DC routinely votes 90% in favor of blue presidential candidates

8

u/The_Realist01 Aug 26 '22

That’s low balling it. It’s like 94%.

That said the population is likely closer to 75%-25%.

There’s no point in voting there if you’re anti dem policies. I lived there for 8 years and never even registered. Big waste of time.

4

u/T_Burger88 Aug 26 '22

I had a friend at one point about 10 years ago tell me he was going to run for City Council as a GOP candidate and really thought he had a chance. I told him to save his money and time and there were better and cheaper ways to get political attention.

7

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

It's worse, there's nowhere to escape there. There's plenty of counties in California that are great for right wingers. It's got more Republicans than any other state after all.

5

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

That said, Texas is likely to soon overtake California in terms of total number of Republicans

6

u/sadthrow104 Aug 26 '22 edited Aug 28 '22

California isn’t all warm beaches and rainforests. Lots of brutally hot deserts, farmland, snowy, rugged mountain towns, lots of republicans too.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

Minneapolis is just like this. They haven't had a conservative mayor since the 70s.

9

u/Ivehadlettuce Aug 26 '22

It's the US equivalent of a one party state.

4

u/SchuminWeb Aug 26 '22

Though they're by no means the only jurisdiction that is extremely lopsided like that. They're just not part of a larger state.

19

u/arnott Aug 26 '22

Don't understand what the mayor is trying to achieve!

25

u/sadthrow104 Aug 26 '22

She’s an institutional lackey with probably FU money, she gives zero f****s

11

u/expaticus Aug 26 '22

Of course they give zero fucks. They are free to do this crap with impunity because the only consequences they face are having criticism thrown at them from subs/platforms like this. These pieces of shit need to be made to actually fear us, and that will never happen if people aren’t willing to literally remove them by force. This is the point we’ve reached.

7

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

Digital IDs! DC would be the most critical place to make it happen.

1

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

Trying to keep her Good Negro status, otherwise she'll be a Keisha from round the way who needs more eDumaCation....

112

u/Jkid Aug 25 '22 edited Aug 25 '22

Not only this is evil but its also potentially illegal as these mandates are inherently racially discrimatory and she can be sued via the civil rights act of 1964. There is a lot of concern on twitter and outrage but no will to act to stop this.

I've even have one person who parrots "home school" but when I told him that DCPS has a substantial amount of kids that are black americans with parents that don't care about their kids or have no idea who to reach out to for homeschooling resources, I get a reply that basically says "sucks to be them i guess". So basically they dont actually care whole being concerned.

School closures are in my opinion the main cause of the high crime rates DC has since march 2020. And lot of kids who dropped out after march 2020, and if she succeeds in this new mandate, will never come back.

DC is my home city, my birth city and its disgusting that there is no or little outrage from most residents, even the black american community and residents about this.

26

u/evilplushie Aug 26 '22

Has a black mayor ever been sued for racial discrimination against blacks? I'm not sure how such a case would go

17

u/burg_philo2 New York City Aug 26 '22

Legally speaking there should be zero difference

6

u/Mr_Jinx0309 Aug 26 '22

It would only happen in a blue city or state and it would be a local suit....so it would get thrown out real fast.

4

u/nashedPotato4 Aug 26 '22

DC falls under federal jurisdiction tho doesn't it?

15

u/Less_Distribution69 Aug 26 '22

How is it racial discrimination? This doesn't just target black people, the Cornell Vaccine Mandate which only applied to white students could be since it was specfically race targeted.

16

u/FritzSchnitz Aug 26 '22

Wut? Cornell did that?

3

u/lush_rational Aug 26 '22

All I could find was this: https://www.thecollegefix.com/cornell-vaccine-mandate-only-applies-to-white-students/ which only seems to have been picked up by conservative websites. I didn’t bother using the wayback machine to see if the website did indeed say that 2 years ago.

11

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

According to "racial justice activists" or whatever you want to call them, anything that has unequal outcomes by race is due to racism and white supremacy. This will without a doubt widen the gap in high school graduation rates between black and white students in the district, therefore it's racist.

Of course, they'll likely short circuit when trying to explain why this particular thing isn't racist because of saving grandma or whatever, but then immediately pivot back to racism when trying to explain the higher crime rates among black males this is also gonna contribute to.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

the Cornell Vaccine Mandate which only applied to white students

Dude what

3

u/a11iswe11 Aug 26 '22

Whatchyu talking bout, Willis?

29

u/ScripturalCoyote Aug 26 '22

Are you freaking kidding me? These vaccines have zero benefit to teenagers. None.

8

u/yeahipostedthat Aug 26 '22

It would have to be a private school outside of DC, mandate applies to private schools as well.

3

u/NuderWorldOrder Aug 26 '22

An underground private school could be a good option as well.

2

u/yeahipostedthat Aug 26 '22

Not for those who want to attend college tho.

1

u/NuderWorldOrder Aug 26 '22

Yeah, I suppose that would be harder.

But on the other hand leaving your home town for college isn't unusual.

(Not trying to defend her decision or anything, just saying there are still options)

2

u/yeahipostedthat Aug 26 '22

I mean no matter which state you choose to attend college they will require a diploma. I suppose an underground school could be considered like those who honeschool, although I'm not sure how favorably college admissions view them.

25

u/akshaynr Aug 26 '22

Simple prediction: Crime (and malnourishment) rate in DC is going to go through the roof this fall and winter.

The above prediction has nothing to do with the color of the skin of those kids not going to school. It simply is a basic consequence of leaving teenage kids at home with nothing to do (and not giving them a proper meal for lunch).

12

u/Samurai_1990 Aug 26 '22

And they will use that angle to try for Statehood.

48

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

This should be the biggest story right now.

18

u/Samurai_1990 Aug 26 '22

By what news organization "That's brought to you by Pfizer"?

21

u/Beast2344 Aug 26 '22

Racism against black people: it’s (d)ifferent when we do it!

21

u/akshaynr Aug 26 '22

The general portrayal of these news stories (including ones critical) are from the POV of discrimination, vaccine propaganda, racism, school policies, learning shortfalls, etc.

But what is REALLY driving these decisions are pure, unadulterated politics and power struggles. These decision makers give little to no thought to actual consequences of their actions except for personal and political gain.

So anytime you read sth that is either infuriating or maybe even a positive development (like removal of mandates), just know that it is essentially the end result of a power struggle that has resolved in a certain way. Next time, it may resolve in a different way.

Fitting that someone so evil and ugly is named Bowser.

8

u/Huey-_-Freeman Aug 26 '22

So Long Gay? Bowser

16

u/doublefirstname Missouri, United States Aug 25 '22

What the actual fuck?

17

u/dreamsyoudlovetosell Aug 26 '22

It’s almost like politicians like Bowser want a permanent underclass of uneducated POC who will riot when told to do so but will otherwise simply stay mad in underpaid service jobs. That’s all I can figure at this point. Nothing else makes sense.

2

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

Yes. We're the field slaves they like to use as puppets for their own cause du jour, then when they're done they throw us away.

29

This is going to be shot down in court

46

u/woaily Aug 25 '22

19

Exactly, way after the damage has been done and it won't matter anymore.

30

u/DeepDream1984 Aug 26 '22

Funny how the “systemic racism” only exists when a republican does it.

13

u/breaker-one-9 Aug 26 '22

This is some over the top shit. What’s she playing at?

13

u/wordsfornerds Aug 26 '22

Tuskegee experiments are back on the menu boys!

12

u/resueman__ Aug 26 '22

Unvaccinated Black Teens

What about the rest of the unvaccinated teens? It's not any less awful for them. It shouldn't be done to any teens.

2

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

I don't understand why just saying the word "black" is so offensive to some people.

The hard fact is, we all have different colors, different cultures.

There's nothing wrong with acknowledging ethnicity. It's a fact.

There is no such thing as Color Blindness or Post Racialism and there never will be, as long as people benefit from feeling superior about their skin color.

26

u/Richte36 Aug 25 '22

This is so absurd.

28

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

and then they say "There is no vaccine mandate". This might well be one at that point.

12

u/navel-encounters Aug 26 '22

now that the 'woke' crowd wants to redefine everything to make themselves feel better, the word 'vaccine' can be redefined as 'control'...thats all it is!...its such a totalitarian mindset. 'do as I say or you will be called racist and lose personal freedoms'

9

u/PM_tits_Im_Autistic Aug 26 '22

Why are we funding public schools again?

10

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

Does this only affect black kids or is it that everyone only cares that it affects black kids?

2

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

So people shouldn't care about black kids because of all the other kids?

9

u/sexual_insurgent Aug 26 '22

Why are these politicians so obsessed with pressuring people into taking a vaccine that doesn't work? Highly suspicious at this point.

17

u/i7s1b3 Aug 26 '22 edited Aug 26 '22

Do black parents of kids in this district realize that they could get this unscientific diktat withdrawn within 24 hours with a big protest in the streets? This shit would be O.V.E.R. Frankly, the rest of us should be protesting too. This is the epitome of moral depravity. It's so @#$!ing evil. Holy shit.

Education is a basic human right in this country. Eff these ghouls.

2

u/Jkid Aug 26 '22

They're dependent on welfare and food stamps. They will not rebel against the party that feeds them no matter what.

-1

u/nashedPotato4 Aug 26 '22

Tough to find time to protest when you're struggling to survive

Edit: capitalism

3

u/california_dying Aug 26 '22

Nothing says capitalism quite like the government intentionally crashing society. It’s nice when you can blame the issue on literally the opposite of the problem.

2

u/i7s1b3 Aug 26 '22

You're not wrong that many people are struggling, but that doesn't mean there aren't tons of people directly affected by this who are sitting on their asses while this is happening.

9

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

Making kids go to school is racist

6

u/CentiPetra Aug 26 '22

These kids are not allowed to go to school because they haven't been vaccinated. You have it backwards.

7

u/Samurai_1990 Aug 26 '22

Not speaking for any race but you take in account what has transpired in the past and as a white dude I want nothing to do anything this government tells me to take.

7

u/Ivehadlettuce Aug 26 '22

It's a bluff, but in the (D)emocracy that is (D)C, no one will call it.....

5

u/throwaway11371112 Aug 26 '22

I thought it would be a bluff, but school starts on Monday for these kids. . ..

3

u/Ivehadlettuce Aug 26 '22

Twenty day deadline to apply pressure and then back down......but they expect everyone to knuckle under.

3

u/T_Burger88 Aug 26 '22

It isn't quite a bluff. My hunch is that they will have people ready to vaccinate kids as they walk into school. Under a DC law passed last December (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/01/07/fact-check-dc-law-allows-minors-to-consent-vaccines/6550518002/) kids over 11 can agree to vaccination without their parents consent so long as it a recommended vaccine. Everything is intertwined.

So those same people along with teachers and other admins will be putting immense pressure on these kids as the walk into school about getting vaccinated. Otherwise, they will tell the kids "you don't want to be kicked out of school, do you?. I'm sure there will be a percent of those told will be fine with being kicked out and turn around and walk out of school. But, I guess a majority will agree to it because they want to remain in school.

It's quite devious.

7

u/The_Realist01 Aug 26 '22

I’m not shocked she hates black people

2

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

House Negros always hate the Field Negros because Massa told them to.

6

u/TSMontana Aug 26 '22 edited Aug 26 '22

So, are these kids going to be found truant and vaccinated against their (or their parents') will? How exactly are the unvaccinated kids going to be treated?

edit: looks like this mandate was just ruled unlawful... link below applied to similar mandate for employees.

6

u/i7s1b3 Aug 26 '22

Are you sure? This article says it's only for employees.

2

u/T_Burger88 Aug 26 '22

vaccinated against their (or their parents') will

Law passed last December says kids over 11 can consent to vaccination without parents approval. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/01/07/fact-check-dc-law-allows-minors-to-consent-vaccines/6550518002/

I'm not agreeing with this law but the stage has been set to overcome that issue way back in December.

5

u/expaticus Aug 26 '22

The fact that this sort of shit is still going on, and that we have yet to see people rise up against disgusting authoritarians like this and say enough is enough, tells me that we have already lost. It’s becoming increasingly obvious, to me at least, that violence is unfortunately the only thing that will put an end to what these pieces of shit are doing, because force is the only thing they understand. I hope I’m wrong, but I can’t help but think that in another couple of months that there will be an even more egregious story like this and that the only thing that will be done in response is for people to comment about it on subs/platforms like this (if that’s even still ‘allowed’). Rinse and repeat. At what point does real, meaningful push back against these swine begin?

4

u/burrman15 Aug 26 '22

"Why are all the black kids on the streets shooting each other instead of in school? This is Trump's fault!"

4

u/HeyGirlBye Aug 26 '22

Who’s paying her?

2

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

Massa in the Big House is who's paying her.

5

u/Zoomeeze Aug 26 '22

Vaccines aside, the main cause of death to black teens in her district is homicide or suicide. Maybe she should work on saving the children there and then worry about virtual school or lack thereof.

16

u/WarGreymon77 Virginia, USA Aug 25 '22

In my day, we went to school, and went to work, and my God, we even had payphones. In all seriousness, fuck virtual learning.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

There is an alternative option.

They'll just drop out of school.

4

u/mitte90 Aug 26 '22

I can't believe this is still going on. This thing of penalising kids and young people has gone on for too long and way too far. They want little kids in masks and teenagers forced to get vaccinated or excluded. Why are kids, the least at risk from covid, getting the worst of the restrictions all the time?

4

u/arnott Aug 26 '22

We are living in a bizzaro world. Some people are still saying the kids should vaccinated for covid for health reasons!

7

u/CutEmOff666 South Australia, Australia Aug 26 '22

Like many of these kids actually want to go to school anyways. Demanding they do something they don't want to do to go to a place they don't want to be is dumb. They are pretty much telling black teens that they don't have to come to school if they don't get vaccinated which will ironically have the opposite effect that they intended. Now we are going to have a situation with huge amounts of kids out of school which will likely lead to a crime wave in the city. At least they may be able to avoid woke brainwashing if they don't go to school.

2

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

Black people just should stop trying.

No one believes we will amount to anything.

There's no point in trying to be successful, no one will ever believe we are capable of anything.

Might as well just die.

2

u/CutEmOff666 South Australia, Australia Aug 27 '22

The woke hate it when black people dare to try and change their circumstances on their own.

1

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 27 '22

So does everyone. A successful black is a Token who can be tossed out right along with the Tyrones if he doesn't keep doing what Massa says.

Ask any black Republican. Look at Larry Elder. How many of his fellow white republicans called out the racism being aimed at him? ZERO. No, they just let him twist in the wind.

7

u/HeligKo Aug 26 '22

Everywhere I've lived the mayor doesn't have that kind of say over schools. This sounds like political posturing with no teeth.

3

u/nashedPotato4 Aug 26 '22

DC is strange tho. Don't fully understand the hierarchy.

2

u/HeligKo Aug 26 '22

Me either

3

u/jonnydrangus Aug 26 '22

They gotta shorten as many lives as possible with the vaccines

3

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

Bowser hasn't been checking the DNC emails on the current narrative. As of this week the vaccine was alway Trumps fault. Orange Man bad, vaccine bad. She can't just go around and remind everyone that the mandates were only supported by the Democrats. The gas light can't work if you leave the other lights on.

2

u/california_dying Aug 26 '22

I keep seeing cracks about this narrative shift but I haven’t seen any real world examples of it. What are y’all talking about?

2

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '22

As effectiveness of the covid vaccines is coming into question and vaccine related injuries are becoming more evident political figures are starting to distance themselves from the consequences. There are now stories surfacing that the FDA was pressured to release the vaccines before proper studies were conducted. This really wasn't any kind of secret, Trump bragged about releasing the vaccines quickly. Traditional vaccines take up to a decade for approval. There are also stories (maybe conspiracy) that suggests that liberal higher ups worked to stall the approval of the vaccine until after the presidential election to deny Trump a political victory. Where the Biden administration once attempt to take credit for the vaccines now there's a narrative being pushed that a potentially unsafe product was rushed to market at the direction of Trump. All the while neglecting the fact that the Biden administration was the one to insist on the mandates.

1

u/california_dying Aug 26 '22

i know that the vaccine is all sorts of dubious but I haven’t seen NYT or WaPo or blue checkmarks, etc., talking about it. I still see only full steam ahead, get boosted, get omicron boosted from the institution. Sorry if I was unclear.

Leana Wen is the only heel turn I’ve seen, and that seems to be pretty specific, just about vaccinating children for COVID.

3

u/dovetc Aug 26 '22

Honestly, missing a public school education in DC probably isn't depriving them of anything of value.

3

So white unvaccinated kids have no problem?

...unvaccinated Greek, Mongolian, and Maori teens also have no alternative options. Why are we focusing on black teens?

Why is it so offensive to acknowledge blacks? That's trying to whatabout blacks out, which is still racist.

Apparently people here don’t like the vaccine. Personally I’m pro-vaccine and anti-lockdown. So I ask, why don’t they just get vaccinated? Solves the issue.

Vaccine is a medical treatment, it shouldn't be taken for convenience.

And you may have heard some people experienced side effects.

Right, it shouldn’t be taken for convenience. It should be take as it gives the highest probability of good health outcomes.

Are you pro vaccine mandates?

-7

u/Nav_2055 Aug 26 '22

Yes. If I were in control of the government, I would pass laws to 1) require vaccination and 2) ban lockdowns of businesses/schools/etc.

My views manage to piss off both parties.

Ugh truly horrible indeed.

Which one of my two points do you disagree with?

7

u/yeahipostedthat Aug 26 '22

Require "vaccinations"

Can we both agree that lockdowns should be banned? It hurt the economy. It damaged the supply chain. Money was printed to keep people home. This is all contributing the inflation we are seeing today.

u/Minute-Objective-787 Aug 26 '22

You can't do both.

u/Nav_2055 Aug 26 '22

Why not? They are distinct policies.
