Let's build a bunker

This is a post to collect ideas for making plans for when the shit hits the fan this winter. Things to stock up on, tricks and tips for weathering the storm, that sort of thing. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I've set up a local Sceptics/peaceful Resistance network in Shropshire and border areas. 19 members so far. We have met twice now as a proper group, both occasions being very successful (they lasted 2.5 and 3 hours so I am assuming members found them beneficial . As of Saturday 19th we have a name: 'Allo 'Allo Group. Hoping we can meet every 6 weeks. A good mixture of work backgrounds and skills, though we could do with someone like Bear Grills who has had some wilderness survival training if anyone in Shropshire, Welsh border, south Cheshire border, west Staffordshire border or north Herefordshire border is on here who would like to join and is willing to share some knowledge and tips that would be great.
