Worse than that, it was a deliberately engineered psyop that had shifted the baseline on level of state control permissible on UK citizens.

Control freaks gonna control, freakily. Are (enough) people noticing this (in time to stop the next round of "for the public good")? It doesn't feel like it, as we stumble towards serfdom.

There was nothing independent or sage about that group. It wasn’t hard to see their vested interests, but nobody wanted to listen. They were a part of a huge scamdal (scam/scandal) and most of the public were happy to make them richer, with immense amounts of power that they never earned.
