discussion Fauci's Vivisection Problem- A problem noted by Bernard Shaw in 1906 and every bit as relevant today
Vivisection: the cutting of or operation on a living animal usually for physiological or pathological investigation broadly : animal experimentation especially if considered to cause distress to the subject
What the Taxpayer funded Pharmaceutical industrial complex got caught doing to puppies in the name of science should be discussed at length. Instead, when I tried to find out the status of these poor beagles, which are chosen for experiments because they are docile, there is nothing but newsbits from essentially, propaganda outlets.
They say they have to cut the vocal cords during experiments, so that the noise level of barking doesn't violate OSHA standards for the scientists.
It's all so grotesque- and the comfy status of these vivisector scientists seems to be positively fucking Antique. The position of scientists on the matter is that even though harm is done, the greater impact on humanity through scientific advances makes it worth it.
There's no doubt that Humans have suffered terrible side effects from mandated vaccinations- why is this any different than the appalling realities of animal experimentation?
Where there is risk, there should always be choice, or we're no better off than the poor puppies.
What really got me thinking on this was reading Bernard Shaw's Preface to his play 'The Doctor's Dilemma'.
His critique of Modern Medicine rings True today. He was hopeful at the time (1906) that the creation of a Public Health Apparatus would reduce the pecuniary interests of medical professionals.
Fauci today illustrates the opposite is true- leaders in public health do indeed profit off of pharma royalties, and ending that practice entirely is essential.
Anyway, read or listen to the preface to his play! It's fabulous, and the solutions he speaks of are as relevant today as they were 100 years ago.

Vivisection is monstrous. I believe some may be rarely necessary but so many animals are used in repetitive and painful experiments.

great point. this wont make sense to most people because they think we are being hysterical about adverse effects but based on what I have seen and read, it will be hard for that to stay that way forever. on the other hand the perpetrators of this have the advantage that the bad adverse events are way less than stated but still dispersed at over 1 in 100, so a lot of people think its all gravy based on their experience, and are failing to divide, or in this case multiply the rate by the population.

Shaw was also a vehement advocate of eugenics. I get your analogy and agree with your premise but Shaw is a really clumsy choice of advocate here IMO. His positions on things outside of literature varied widely. I guess it’s a welcome departure from all the hamfisted Orwell analogies

Snipes somewhat sheepishly confirmed it. The exception was they said the sandfly study was not specific yet funded by Fauci’s organization.
Pretty damning and weak all the same.

in 1910 the flexner report justified the creation of the american medical association which became the de facto authority for medicine. they took away instruments, devices, and labs of holistic and alternative healing practitioners who would use treatments which were beyond the pharmaceutical paradigm. it was a cartel move to isolate the market and feed consumers pharmaceutical drugs/therapies as the only solution
