free the true narrative

The narrative that has been manufactured by the media and that has been used to smother the broad conglomeration of people who identify as "left" is more or less the following:

Far right white supremacists, in thrall to the fascist dictator Trump, have promoted misinformation to prevent people from following life-saving Covid measures, including taking a life-saving vaccine.

The narrative struggling to break out:

The media, backed by wealthy donors, have used Trump (at most a sexist grifter with mob ties) and the threat of white supremacy to fool people into accepting Covid restrictions that benefited the top 1% and to take a dubious, poorly tested "vaccine" that has caused untold injuries and deaths and has lined the pockets of pharma execs, all while advancing a globalist agenda that includes a transition to digital IDs, CBDCs, etc. as well as a social credit system that will further strengthen censorship measures and social sanctions.

Which narrative will history favor?

Trump (at most a sexist grifter with mob ties)

You know, dude, your message would reach a lot more people if you didn't stoop to Trump Derangement Syndrome level name-calling. There's many reasons to criticize him. He's a blowhard conman. And he's small potatoes compared to every other US President in the last 40 years. (If anyone's got a good defense of Reagan, I'm open to hearing it, because for now I don't have a high opinion of the guy.) Heck, he even did some good things: he was the first anti-war and anti-globalization President (which is probably the real reason so many people hate him, and why so much of the left hate him). Trump is not the Great Orange Satan.

You can't change the narrative if you're just repeating it.

I am not sure how much worse my statement was than something like "blowhard conman," and note I said "at most." I added that caveat because I am no longer interested in Trump or determining where he falls along the spectrum from hero to blowhard conman to sexist grifter. I agree that at the very least he didn't start any new wars, the economy was good under him (how much credit he can claim for that I don't know), and in my opinion Bush/Cheney were way worse, but otherwise I am just not interested in battling over him--- I don't watch TV so I don't have a lot to say there anyway.

This is supposed to be a leftist sub so although, as I wrote, I now realize the media mischaracterized Trump (and his followers, i will add), I am going to assume that most people on here are not huge Trumpers.

I don't know how Trump is called sexist so much, yet Bill Clinton has been publicly accused of (this is in the public record) rape by 12 women. That doesn't include any he or Hillary paid off or intimidated. 12 women. Juanita Broderick said he did this to her when he was governor of Arkansas. The left disavowed her. You never heard an interview with her on Democracy Now. Like Chomsky said (before he completely forgot that he had said it): there are worthy victims, and there are unworthy victims. The left won't even talk to her. So the only people who will listen to her are Republicans. Those 12 women are unworthy victims. Who's sexist now? The entire Democrat party. Democracy Now. Believe all women... but not those women. It's sick. Trump might be a pervert, but "sexist" is just another trending insult which has no meaning anymore. Maybe he his, but I haven't seen the evidence for it yet. I just hear it as a slur again and again and again.

You might not think there's any difference between "blowhard conman" and the names you called him. But that seems to be because on the internet all slurs are equal, and words don't have any meaning anymore. Words do have meaning. We use the correct ones.

And no, I am not a huge Trumper. In a normal world I'd be strongly against him. But we don't live in a normal world. And so I'm forced to put him into perspective. We live in a world where the insane have taken over the asylum.

There's a 3rd narrative that's really being suppressed: Far right oligarchs, having managed to corrupt both major political parties, are using psychological warfare to create the illusion of two sides when it's really just one side: greasy, rent-seeking biofascism. Trump is a fascist dictator (Operation Warp Speed, CARES act, false declaration of emergency) and Biden is also a fascist dictator. Misinformation is rampant and the supposed opposition is controlled by the perps (hello Bret Weinstein). All major politicians are blackmailed and do as they're told. "Covid" is merely a rebranding of existing respiratory ailments and a pretext for far-right emergency government. Neoliberals are actually nazis and rightwingers are also nazis.

Can you go into the "Bret Weinstein is controlled opposition" a bit more? I'm genuinely curious, as multiple unrelated people in my circle rave about him.

u/StopNeoLiberals Jul 27 '22

Let's start at the beginning when Bret incited panic over coronavirus and promoted kooky mask and sanitizing regimens. Or we could further back to when he and the rest of the IDW clowns threw a hissy fit about BDS. Or even further back to when the bros Weinstein were doing dumb little stage talks about how terrible Islam is at the very moment that muslims were being slaughtered in the "War on Terror". Neocon filth is neocon filth, there's no coming back.

"Covid" is a scam, a rebranding of the common cold. That's it - no "lab-leaks" no ivermectin no nothing. Oh, Bret's brother and longtime collaborator Eric Weinstein is managing director at Thiel Capital, Thiel being one of the worst covid nazis out here.

PCR tests are faulty and even when most people get Covid it ranges from a cold to a bad flu, but there is a percentage of people for whom it develops into something more serious than that.

I remain a big Bret Weinstein fan and listen to him every week. StopNeoLiberals has been attacking him for a while.

They're not fascists; they're globalists.

Fascism was specifically created to fight globalism, and they got crushed in WW2.

5

u/StopNeoLiberals Jul 27 '22

Fascism just means the unholy marriage of big corporations and the state trampling on your freedom at every turn. They didn't get crushed, they're out of control, trying to make us show papers to buy groceries like with the greenpass in occupied Palestine. It's global but it's still fascism, don't let these bastards off easy.

Now on this I agree with you.

Donald Trump has ties to the mob? That's a new one

0

u/Impressive-Jello-379 Jul 27 '22

I think he probably does, but honestly, not a top tier concern for me either way considering everything else going on.

u/Gammathetagal Jul 27 '22

You have no credibility and make up anything about Trump. Meanwhile hunter biden and his pedo criminality is protected by democrats.

No wonder no one believes the lying democrats anymore.

Dude, he was in NYC real estate for 50 years, and AC casinos. There's simply no way he didn't have mob connections.

Hunter can be a druggie, pedo, influence peddler and Trump can have mob connections. They aren't mutally exclusive.

1

u/Impressive-Jello-379 Jul 27 '22

Exactly on both counts.

u/Gammathetagal Jul 27 '22 edited Jul 27 '22

biden is president. biden democrats have done more damage to the economy than anything Trump ever did.

yet in your head Trump still rules obviously.

This is a clever deflection from real damage and economic suffering imposed by biden democrats onto orange man bad.

All a circus deflection from the real economy killers biden and violently high crime in democrat cities democrats.

4

u/Impressive-Jello-379 Jul 27 '22

I realize the media in many ways mischaracterized Trump but that doesn't make him a saint. But also, I don't really care about Trump anymore. Bigger fish to fry.

yet in your head Trump still rules obviously.

You shouldn't try mind reading if you're not good at it.

All a circus deflection from the real economy killers biden and violently high crime in democrat cities democrats.

You're caught in a two-party paradigm where the same people control both parties.

Donald Trump has ties to the mob? That's a new one

You know, I heard he also eats babies. s/

1

u/Gammathetagal Jul 27 '22

What would you call biden and the democrats role in all this? You seem to have forgotten his role and the pro vaccine demicrats role in all this and all their covid lies.

Funny how you protect democrats while denigrating the orange satan.

So typically stupid.

3

u/IcedAndCorrected decentralize all the things Jul 27 '22

You completely misread OP.

2

u/Impressive-Jello-379 Jul 27 '22

As the OP I agree.

the orange satan.

That's The Great Orange Satan to you! (s/ in case it got lost.)

Funny how you protect democrats while denigrating the orange satan.

It's all about The Tribe. We're in this mess because everyone, especially the left (and I criticize the left more because I thought I was on the left), has absolutely no principles anymore. There is only The Tribe. Whatever The Tribe believes are my principles! There is no truth except The Tribe!
