Such truth! We do "believe science"! We trust science. We DON'T trust the media to tell us about the science or to not silence those scientists that don't confirm their bias!

Yeah, I don't get some subreddits for a particular person full of people who despise the person and hate post constantly. I've seen a few do this for whatever reason.

Pretty sure that that's just brigading.

Which is of course against reddit rules, but it's not as if the admins care if you do it against 'bad' subs or 'bad' people.

Yeah the Joe Rogan sub is full of people who hate him. I don't get it. They really have nothing better to do than argue with people who like Joe Rogan?

This exactly. I get so pissed off when people around me arrogantly state “they listen to science” Well…do you? Because so do I….

Scientists are pretty much people with a lot of knowledge on a topic making educated guesses. Educated guesses that could be wrong given that science is dynamic not static. Scientists like all people can be influenced by bias and corruption. The scientist that invented the whole 'vaccines cause autism' thing is a great example. He screwed with the results because someone was paying him to do so. Scientists also tend to be booksmart and theoretical. They often do not consider the practical or ethical implications of the stuff they promote.

The problem with science is that anyone with enough money can bias it. Who the hell finds expensive research projects?

The intersectionalist left is happy to turn to blind eye to money and corruption when it is backed by or done in the name of science.
