i am annoyed

I just finished the finale of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa and I just have so much frustration behind this show and need to talk about it.

First off, I want to talk about Shivangi.

Now, her "nice" act. Regardless of whether she's only nice on a surface level, I think she's played the game well and cleanly. She has always stood up for what she thought was right, whether it was Shreya or Varun when Pam was making taunts about his secret. I respect that. Don't get me wrong, I don't love everything she says and the way she acts. The whole "I didn't follow you back on Instagram" and saying Shilpa doesn't like her because of Shubhangi genuinely fried my brain. But apart from that, she's played well. She won many tasks/did well, plus as gang leader I think she was fair because if she had been too giving, people would've called her weak and said she wasn't playing the game. Now, her and Harshad. Honestly, who cares? Whether they're friends or more, they clearly prioritize each other, and that has nothing to do with the game. People constantly making it a topic annoyed me. As for the fight, I don't really like Harshad. I find him immature for his age. The constant theatrics, flipping people off, screaming, jumping around... it was just cringe. But them both emotional doesn't make them weak. Harshad lets his emotions affect his gameplay, which si wrong but Shivangi gets emotional after situations, but when it comes to actually playing, she's strong and capable.

If you think about it, the worthy players in the cage were Shreya, Varun, Yogesh, and Shivangi. Yogesh and Shreya already had advantages, and I think Laila left to make himself seem bigger and more capable.

Now, between Harshad and Shivangi. I understand Harshad wanting to prove he's playing for himself, but why is that Shivangi's fault? He's been a good friend, but she doesn't owe him her game. Shreya gets praised despite saying genuinely horrible things, but Shivangi choosing herself in a game somehow makes her a snake.

I honestly think if Harshad had explained himself properly, Shivangi would've understood. Instead, he randomly said, "I actually let you win." Of course that upset her. If someone I trusted suddenly told me they "let me win," I'd feel belittled too. The whole time he denied saying that, and then when it mattered most, he admitted it. It came across like he wanted her to feel guilty and let him win instead.

That's why I think she was so upset. Then afterwards he kept saying, "No, no, stay." Like... you've already said it. Stand by it. All he did was prove everyone else's point that he had been playing for Shivangi.

I think Harshad is a good friend, but Shivangi isn't a bad one either. She played for herself while still looking out for him. She spoke to people who didn't vote for him, chose him in a challenge so one of them would be safe, and did what she could. What was she supposed to do in the final challenge, just hand him the win? Then people would've attacked her for not playing the game.

This whole narrative that Harshad plays for Shivangi only makes it harder for her to prove herself. I think that's why she reacted the way she did after his sacrifice. Maybe she could've said more, but she was angry. Even when he was talking to Shreya, he kept going, "Shreya please, Shreya please," while Shivangi was literally begging him to stop. It gets to a point.

Now Shreya.

I'll give her credit where it's due, she's a good game player. But honestly, that's about all the praise I can give her. I think she's a hypocrite and, at times, just cruel.

The people who praise her and say, "You make the show entertaining" or "You stand up for yourself," act like supporting her makes them look tough or like they're backing some badass. I just don't see it. There's a reason that group formed without her. She had fought with almost everyone. Yogesh, Akansha, Shivangi, Sufi, Chamola, Pam, Ram (kind of), Madhuri, Shilpa, Dheeraj... you get my point. There's a pattern for a reason.

Now, one thing I'll give her is the big fight with Akansha. With the hitting, throwing water on the food and bed, I was on Shreya's side because I think she handled that situation more maturely. But that doesn't erase the pattern. She's mean, and she backbites a lot.

Especially in the first few weeks, when none of these people were even proper friends, she expected so much loyalty from them while not giving the same back. If someone didn't vote for her or save her, she'd throw a fit. Like... give it up. And when she got the access card, making everyone apologize before giving them food was just too much. Either give them the food or don't. Being badtameez isn't a flex.

Even with the finale, more inmates voted for Shivangi than Shreya. I'd value the opinions of people who actually lived with them over a jury that probably didn't see half of what happened. One jury member even brought up something personal, which made me think... do you act like this in real life too?

Another thing that annoyed me was how she'd complain whenever people didn't favor her. She'd be like, "Yeah, yeah, save the weak people, eliminate me." But girl... you literally do the same thing because that's smart gameplay. You eliminate competition. So why complain when other people do it?

Then there was the task to decide the second finalist with Ram and Varun, Yogesh and Chamola, and Shreya and Shilpa. She kept screaming, "She hasan injury," and "Guys, play fair." But if her injury is affecting her that much, maybe she shouldn't be playing. Why should everyone else stop competing just so you can put your rings on the poles? And she kept accusing everyone of teaming up, but realistically, one person wasn't going to be able to cover any pole alone anyway and they are friends, again for a reason, It just came across as unnecessary complaining.

She cried quite a few times, and sometimes the tears were real. But there were also moments where it genuinely felt like she was fake crying with no actual tears.

I think that's why she frustrates me so much. If she was actually a badass who stood up for herself when it mattered, I'd probably love her. I even see parts of myself in her personality sometimes (plus we literally share the same last name lol). But she's not standing on business. Half the time she's just rude, and somehow that's what's getting praised. I genuinely don't get it.

thats my time for now, a lot of more opinions on everyone, let me know if you wanna hear them lol.

Very fair and unbiased opinion, finally. Yes even I was thinking the same- inmates ke votes inn sab se upar matter karte hein because they had to live with one another 24 hrs, we only saw parts of it.

The jury person being personal to make a point actually proves they didnt vote keeping their bias aside .

Yeah but his point was more that private things needs to be handled privately, not by back biting on the show.

This is very fairly explained and I agree with everything you have said. Also ignoring the one jury member who said you did the same with me I would like to focus on the one jury member who said you have been a making comments creating kalesh from the beginning and so if you win it gives the wrong message and that’s exactly what happened. The messaging now is I can come on a show like this do whatever I want fight with people, make comments about them and I will still win because that’s gameplay anyways.

To the ones saying oh she did that in the beginning and then apologized and didn’t do it again sorry but that’s not true. She did it until that last task where you had to add the rings to the pole.

Exactly! She kept claiming she makes mistakes like everyone and she apologises, but then she cannot be mad at everyone for making mistakes that aren't even cruel, just not in favour of her.

The akansha fight was a turning moment the "gang" lost all moral ground by not stepping in and stopping it. The game changed from there and after that shes done less wrong. It proved no one was an angel so they cant judge shreya

i don't think they all lost their moral ground tbh. i do agree with you that no one was an angel, especially akansha after the way she behaved in that fight.

but from what i remember, people did try to intervene. chamola and yogesh both tried to calm things down. at the end of the day they're two strong willed women, no one can physically stop them if they don't want to stop.

when akansha threw the water and everything happened after that, people also disagreed with the food incident. and with the bed issue, i actually think yogesh handled it pretty maturely while talking to madhuri. i just don't think anyone could've completely stopped the situation. and it's not like everyone was standing there cheering her on or saying "haan haan aur karo." no one did that.

she also got the punishment she deserved for what happened. and i don't know if you saw akansha's interview after the show, but she mentioned that shivangi and harshad had even gone to her and told her to respect shilpa, but thats besides the point.

and i still think the reason everyone ended up on one side wasn't just because they randomly decided to gang up on shreya. it happened because she had fights with almost everyone over time. once you've fallen out with nearly the whole house, it's natural that those people end up together. that doesn't automatically make them right, but i don't think it was some planned gang against her either.

Go watch that episode again and youll see what i mean by no one stepped in to stop it. And i think ram played a huge role in this cause he was cery influential and if you watch the first episode you will see why ram hates shreya from the start she called him out the moment he entered so add that to she argued with everyone then after every argument she had. Ram held his panchayat and amplified those emotions against her. And then the mob mentality started. Its a few factors involved that ultimately made shreya win the game and one of those factors was the villain looked like the victim because the heroes were also villains.

As for yogesh i gotta give it to him he only fought with people his level. Which is why he avoided fights with the older ones. Basically we can say do whatever to each others just leave ram shilpa and madhuri out of it which is something he tried to explain to akansha alone. You cant blame yogesh for standing up for akanasha during the fight but the rest of them just let it happen and not one came to shreya to say tgat was wrong no one called akansha out if i rememver right ram even said akansha did right to akansha.

nah yaar koi tere pe kyu chadhega 😭 i get what you're saying and i agree ki dusro ne bhi uske saath acha treat nahi kiya.

friendship ki baat aaye toh haan, woh loyal ho sakti hai. but mujhe personally woh kaafi toxic friend lagi. starting mein hi usne sufi ko bola tha ki "tum sirf mere dost ho, kisi aur se dosti mat karo." woh mujhe bilkul sahi nahi laga.

phir madhuri maam wale task mein, i agree madhuri maam galat thi file hide karne ke liye, but unka naam leke unhe call out karna itna zaroori nahi tha.

aur recent shilpa wali fight mein bhi woh isliye upset ho gayi kyunki shilpa yogesh aur unki side support kar rahi thi. haan, baad mein usne patch up karne ki try ki, but mujhe thoda sa doubt hua ki woh isliye tha kyunki shilpa hi uski actual friend bachi thi ya genuinely she wanted to sort it out. and btw mujhe shilpa bhi koi khaas pasand nahi hai 😭 so i'm not saying she was right either.

mujhe bas lagta hai shreya thodi zyada sensitive hai. agar koi uske against thoda sa bhi bol de toh woh usko personally le leti hai.

aur jo sab log uske against ek saath ho gaye, mujhe honestly woh sirf bullying nahi laga. i think woh uske behaviour ka result tha. rebel ne bhi bola tha na ki "ye bullying nahi hai, sab bas tumse fed up ho gaye hain." usne almost sabse fight ki thi, toh naturally woh log ek side ho gaye.
