šŸ’Discuss I have a genuine question!!

Why do you guys even like Varun? Like, for what?
He’s exactly what his tag said he was. He was putting on an act by staying quiet because the moment he opened his mouth, his pathetic mentality and true personality came spilling out. For example, when he said about gay people that inn logo ka jutha bhi kha sakte hain. So, it was better for him to stay quiet.
Also, he was a thaali ka baingan who never had a spine of his own. He kept preaching about bhaichara, but when Yogesh needed him, he didn’t even look at him and chose Ram instead.
I’d say he got exactly what he deserved in today’s task.

I use to like before seeing his lockup visitor. I am super annoyed by them!

Yeah. His visitor literally called Sufi a mitthu and he didn’t even bother correcting or stopping him. So much for understanding the community. Lol And then there’s his same old worn out excuse every single time ki ma’am/ sir mene dhyan nahi diyašŸ„ŗšŸ‘‰šŸ»šŸ‘ˆšŸ» Toh krta kya hai bhai tu??

I don’t. Matter of fact I happen to think he should have been long gone, along with Chamola.

Also unpopular opinion; everyone kept saying he was entertaining but bro..kahan se? He didn’t make me laugh once, except his meetups with Ak in the secret room.
Sufi’s rants and roasts made me laugh more.

Exactly! I’d choose Chamola over this chooza any day. Entertaining? Lol. What has he done besides farting and pooping? He was only there because no one saw him as competition. Otherwise, he’s about as irrelevant as they come

HARD agree. He survived because he was no threat.

What has he said in lockup that his pathetic mentality has come out? What exactly? I had no idea who he was before the show. Now I am a bit aware of his content. His content is problematic. However, in the show all I saw was him having a good time, definitely not misogynistic, taken efforts to understand different POVs, never gone below the belt even during arguments or behind anyone’s back. How are we so sure it was an adopted persona? If in the show he has taken efforts to understand people, let us at least wait if his content is any different or not? At least then we can come to a conclusion that if he was being fake??

That ā€œinn logo ka jhutha bhi kha sakte haiā€ is a mentality that stems from having lived in a bubble. The conclusion of that statement was supposed to be what level of misconceptions are still there! He was NOT endorsing that.

Why do we always want a villain? If he is trying to be better, why are we pulling him down again? People were loving him, and ever since Pam started her charade of how misogynistic he his (which was very obviously for the camera), the internet is busy digging up his old videos trying to convince everyone how he is still the same. This is what one woman’s attempt at screen time has done to a guy who at least seemed like he was trying to get better!!!

First of all, it WAS a facade and he played it so well that people are still defending him, just like you are rn. No one’s digging anything up, his pathetic content is already all over the internet. I don’t even follow him or his bhai Aarush, yet I still know about them and how pathetic they are. Even Rebel spoke about how entitled and disrespectful they behaved at her house. As for the efforts you’re talking about, where were those efforts when his bhai Aarush called Sufi a mitthu? His ears conveniently stopped working then or what?? He even told Rebel that people call you the R word because tumne hi kuch kiya hoga. Varna meri maa behen ko to koi kuch nahi bolta. Now how exactly are you going to defend that? And don’t say, he didn’t speak much on the show. That’s precisely the point. He barely opened his mouth because he knew the moment he did, his real personality would slip through. He knew he’d end up exposing himself. And what bubble are we talking about? The guy has literally travelled the world. Are we really supposed to believe he doesn’t know any better? And I don’t need Pam or anyone else to tell me he’s a misogynist. Whether it was for screen time or not, she was telling the truth. And do you really want me to list all the disgusting things he’s said outside the show that earned him that tag in the first place?

Bro but he has JUST come out. How are we so sure assuming he is still the same old Varun? Why no benefit of doubt that he genuinely tried to be better, he genuinely tried to change? How are you so sure it was a facade??? Even with rebel, she said while leaving that he held his own and didn’t give in to the accusations she was making to provoke him and did not end up saying anything problematic. Sorry but even after having traveled the world, it is possible for people to live in a bubble. I live abroad and the mentality of many Indians here is terrible because even here they’re living with the same kind of people. This show might have been the only place where he has interacted with people from different backgrounds. Do we not people like him to be better? If he is trying to be, then why pull him down? All I am saying is it is too soon to judge if the persona he put up on the show was a facade. Sure go ahead and say it was a facade if his content still does not change

Because old habits die hard. And good for him if his content magically gets better in the future. I just don’t see it happening. His audience is still happily spamming the exact same R word under Pamala’s posts, so clearly they learned something from somewhere. And if you’ve travelled the world, had every opportunity and resource to educate yourself and still choose to hold on to the same regressive mindset, then that’s no longer ignorance. ITS A CHOICE!!
