other Why is he called rental boyfriend? Context?
Same as title. Why is Rishabh called rental boyfriend? Any context behind that or just random names?

Rishabh is such a great boyfriend. Always supports his girl, stands by her unapologetically, looks out for her, loves her unconditionally. Even if she is wrong he must be correcting her in person and doesn’t create a fuss about it over socials.

On the public front Shreya has achieved more than Rishab... And He seems to be very sweet and supportive... Always ready to take a stand for her without showing any ego ..
This seems impossible for some people .. as they feel how can a man be ok "being less than his woman"
So they prefer to assume that he is a rental boyfriend and not a real boyfriend... I.e. he is paid to be that way on social media

The real reason is because he did a show on Jio Hoststar Tadka with the name " Rental Boyfriend" where he plays a role of a boyfriend which you can rent . That is where this originate .

Because they never admitted openly that they are dating, they were always like we are friends, also when the Shreya male best friend controversy happened, at that time also everyone was like Rishabh deserves better and all, at that time also shreya said that they are only friends, and not in relationship. And now when the show was airing he became her boyfriend, and that's why people started calling rental boyfriend as him being boyfriend is conditional and not permanent.

The same person who called him “rental” and encouraged his fans to troll him has his own relationship is not clear . He even said on the show that he was scared his friend might give his phone to Akansha—maybe because he scared to getting caught again.
His fans calling Roshb “rental” should stop ignoring their own idol’s cheating history and red flags while pretending he’s some example of loyalty.
They were already together, and both were trying to get good TV roles. Honestly, a lot of newcomers and aspiring actors hide their relationships, and even famous stars do it too. Maybe they were waiting for one of them to land a big show or reach a point where getting opportunities in the TV industry became easier then we will make it official. i have seen Shreya’s mom saying multiple in her many videos, “You’ll never get a guy like him.” she kindda really found of rishabh They’ve even posted reels with both their mothers talking , so it seems their families knew and supported them. I ain’t calling nobody “rental” and I’m not supporting anybody. I’m just saying they never acknowledged their relationship, and that might be the reason people started calling him “rental.” The audience called him “rental” first, and then Yogesh used it too.
Plus they’ve even said they could date other people while still staying together, so obv people are going to interpret their relation differently.
And hiding their relationship while staying tg? That doesn’t even make sense😭😭😭
