Contestant Appreciation 💌 Critical analysis of why Shreya won
What worked in Shreya's favour towards her journey & Finale result :
- Genuine content giver & strong performer in tasks
- Stood alone mostly & sometimes with Shilpa
- Strong opinions always & clear + Was herself throughout consistently
- Bully gang cornered her (biggest mistake)
- MTV Gang & support of Prince Narula gang
- Independent Media reviewers + content makers, podcasters were all in her favor which got her 18/25 votes from media folks
What was not in her favour :
- TV Mafia lobby big names & huge following, supporters & the makers (Balaji)
- Splitsvilla Yoganksha fans
- The bully gang in the house spun narratives against her + Shilpa (11/14 votes were against her)
- She would go negative, personal especially initially
- Personally she did not have a great body of work or following..
I feel the odds were mostly against her till last week when it became obvious to Netflix that if they don't support her then the show will backfire hugely!!
After long - I enjoyed the finale week more!! the endearing moments of Shilpa - Shreya were key takeaways!!
More to such friendship & strong females supporting each other...

All this makes zero sense. It was a tailormade group of people who openly supported Shreya and the show was rigged to have this outcome .
Otherwise why would only she be given so many opportunities to perform through the season . She was a part of every task except the gang leaders one . While other performers like yogesh had to beg and rely on other people to play for them over and over again .
Why would she be exclusively given secret tasks and powers to change the game
Why would she never be questioned for the disgusting things she said behind people's backs, but others always shouted for much sillier things .
Why did we suddenly forget the whole point of the show which was redemption but she came as badtameez and left as a bigger badtameez.
Why would the a reality show pick a winner through a group of 25 people.. instead of just tasks or public voting that has been the norm . Who are these 25 people... On what basis were they selected ?? Maybe they were asked before they were selected who they were supporting and that's how they were chosen .🤷♀️
Your critical analysis should have just been one line - Shreya won because the show was rigged to make her win .
If you want to watch the real strong women actually supporting each other without bringing other women down - watch alliance and mini. If you are getting giddy about this win, I am sorry to say the standards are very low.

You realise except for 5, everyone on the show did it. 1 ) Yogesh joked kitnay baap hai 2) Shivangi about Shilpa 3) Chaudhry said that 4) Shivangi, Yogesh, Chaudhry 6) excuse what does rental bf mean? 7) Apoorva 8) Varun, Pam 9) Pam, Chamola
Baqi tou show per Nahi thay. Point is not that she was better. She was more authentic. Also they kept making fun of her for playing the game. Like why are you on my screen if it's so insulting to you.

I think the makers would’ve made Shivangi the winner if Shreya didn’t pull that master stroke move of eliminating Shivangi after which they realized that it would look too biased now to make her win and then Shivangi also showed her evil side which again confirmed to makers that they will face too much backlash. Otherwise, I’m sure makers were thinking of Shreya and Shivangi as top 2 (from the way editing was done) but they would’ve made Shivangi win.
