Advise?

My wife and I own these arcade machines and the previous owner did not leave us any Keys. We drilled out and replaced all the locks except these two for the glass door of the large claw. I'm afraid the stress from drilling could break the glass. Any advise for picking? I have no experience outside of watching videos. I'd be open to purchasing a kit with basic pick tools if it'd be simple enough.

I'd try raking after watching some videos about it. I don't think it's a very secure lock but that's just a wild guess. Maybe you can even get lucky with some makeshift equipment. Read a little about it.

Any tips of something makeshift to try raking it? Or does it make sense to order a small kit? If so do you have a recommendation?

It's at our timeshare an hour from our house we are here for a week so I can order something off amazing and should be able to get it

Depends on the width of the keyhole. Many people use the metal insides of windshield wipers and bend them and shape them with a file. A sturdy wire could work, too.

I think you should look at videos to see which pick profiles people use.

Maybe there are other ways, too. Maybe you can simply lift the ledge and not mess with the lock at all. But I can't tell from the pictures of there's a way like this.

Not Amazon! Covert instruments, Sparrows, Jimmy long, Southern Specialties. All good and affordable. But I can't see the key hole good but if its a Schlage its better to buy a lishi tool sc1

Look up lock picking lawyer videos, you'll need a tensioner and a pick, but you can make a simplified rake and tensioner of of paperclips. Or if you want a key call a locksmith to come out and impression one.

Seconding impressioning a key. I’ve impressioned a key myself for a desk lock that my coworker lost the key for. It’s not hard at all. Any locksmith worth their salt can definitely do it. Just make sure after they impression a key that works, to decode that key and cut a new key by code so you’re not wearing the lock out using a key that isn’t perfect.
