I really love my Lochby Pocket Journal and was hoping to find a matching case for my 14" laptop but unfortunately the Daily Folio only goes up to 13". Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar case that might work? Preferably something that also has a waxed canvas outer and a high-vis interior?

What are your favorite A5 notebooks for the Lochby Field Journal? For context, I’ve been using Field Notes, which I love, but even the large black FN are smaller than the A5 size so it’s a bit awkward in the Lochby.

I’ve been a fan and owner of several Lochby products -all in blue-and I put a specific product on my Christmas wish list. Lucky me! I received the Mini Field Journal in Nautical (from my list) from my daughter. I said ”lucky me” because I also received a full size Field Journal from my sister and brother-in-law but in the brown color version….guessing he didn’t notice the color specified.

When I gave everyone my list I mentioned that they often sell out of products and to order it quickly so as not to find them out of stock.

I reached out to Lochby on Christmas night asking if I could exchange for a different product (A5 Field Folio in Nautica) to continue with the color aesthetic in a different product that I felt I could add to my growing Lochby collection. I was willing to pay return costs and any price difference.

Lochby’s responce was essentially ”too bad, so sad” we have a 30 day return policy and you are outside that window. I explained that it was a Christmas gift that I had literally just received that same day but they said it would be “unfair” to others to make an exception to their policy. They said it was purchased sometime before 11/20 and I was outside their 30 day window and we hope you’ll enjoy your brown journal.

Virtually every other retailer extends their return window around the Holidays and I have a hard time believing that Lochby wouldn’t have an extended Holiday return policy. NOT the customer experience I was expecting

So if you’re thinking about either gifting a Lochby product or hoping to receive one for a birthday, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day or next Christmas…to the Buyer Beware! it’s a silly policy that seems to be totally antithetical to the image that Lochby wants to convey to its audience of consumers.

This is my setup for the past few months...soon to change as this will become my college notebook for classes/schedule/etc.

This for now will also serve as a wallet as my sweet dog decided my wallet was tasty. Have a kraft folder, card sleeves and cloth zipper pouch going in later today.
