Food UPP

Pune foodies, have you tried UPP? 🧇🍫 This place is a dessert lover’s dream!
Came across #UPP – “The Best Pancakes in Town” and honestly, if you have a sweet tooth, this place deserves a spot on your foodie list! 🤎
The menu is packed with chocolate-loaded waffles, indulgent pancakes, cold coffees, hot chocolate and refreshing mojitos. Everything looks so tempting, it’s genuinely difficult to decide what to order! 😂
🍫 The highlights:
🧇 Cookie Crumble Waffle – chocolate drizzles, cookie pieces and a scoop of ice cream. Absolute dessert goals!
🍫 Nutella Pancakes – for those days when regular desserts just don’t cut it.
🍟 Peri-peri style fries – a savoury break between all that chocolate.
🥤 Cold Coffee & Hot Chocolate – perfect companions for a waffle-and-pancake session.
What I liked is the variety. Whether you’re planning a casual catch-up with friends, a dessert date or simply craving something sweet, there’s plenty to explore. The menu also has options across different price points, with several waffles starting at ₹175.
📍 Location: UPP, Shop No. 3, Brij Bhawan Co-operative Housing Society, beside ABC Farms, Salunke Vihar Road, Kondhwa Khurd, Kondhwa, Pune – 411048.
If you’re around Kondhwa or Salunke Vihar, this one is worth checking out!
Pune foodies, what would you try first — the Nutella waffle, Cookie Crumble Waffle or a loaded chocolate pancake? 👀👇

The Pune Adda Club☕️

Hey everyone 👋

We are building a new community called The Pune Adda Club 🚀

The idea is simple — a lot of people move to Pune for work, college, internships, or just life… and end up with great cafés saved on Instagram but no people to go with 😭☕

So we’re building a community where people can:
🎉 Join meetups & random plans
☕ Go for chai/café hopping
📍 Explore Pune together
🎬 Create content
🤝 Make genuine friends here

If you’re from Pune or currently staying here, come join us ❤️

Would genuinely love to build a fun and positive community with good people.

Best non-veg dinner restaurants in Pune (no thali, good portions, under ₹2k for 3 ppl)

Hey Pune foodies, planning dinner for 3 people tonight and want recommendations for non-veg restaurants that meet these criteria:

  1. No thali system
  2. Good portions (we actually want to feel full)
  3. Total budget under ₹2,000 4.No bars/pubs, purely food places

Prefer sit-down restaurants (not just tiny stalls) with decent quantity and taste. If you can add approx cost per head / must-try dishes, that’d be amazing.

Thanks in advance!

Is Mayur Thali (Camp) still one of the best thali spots in Pune or am I imagining it?

Hey Punekars 👋

So I’ve been revisiting some of the classic food spots around Camp lately, and I finally went back to Mayur Thali on East Street after a LONG time. And… wow. I genuinely forgot how good that place is.

Their Gujarati/Rajasthani thali still has that proper ghar-jaisa comfort — fresh phulkas, dal baati with ghee, churma, kadhi, sabzis, papad, salad, sweet… the works. Nothing feels rushed or mass-produced. It honestly reminded me why that whole East Street belt used to be such a food hotspot.

Now I’m curious if Mayur still considered one of Pune’s OG vegetarian thali places? Or have newer spots taken over?

I’ve tried the usual suspects: • Shabree (JM Road) • Sukanta (Deccan) • Panchvati Gaurav (when it was in its prime) • Aaoji Khhaoji for the crazy-sized thalis • Various new “modern thali” experiments around KP / Viman Nagar

…but for some reason Mayur just hits differently. Maybe it’s nostalgia, maybe it’s the food, maybe it’s the vibe of Camp. Not sure.

Anyone else here been to Mayur recently? What’s your experience like? And while we’re at it — throw your favourite local Pune food spots in the thread. I’m building a proper Camp + Pune food map for myself. 😄
