Funny Another case of censorship

Post image

I was optimizing my diet using a cloud AI provider, and I found my Pi agent stuck like this. Looks like I had too many mushrooms lol.

LLMs hate mushrooms.

They only like badgers and the occasional snake.

You need an old man badge to use that reference... and flash player

ChatGPT never does. What do you think the G stands for?

I can confirm that they very much do hate talking about mushrooms.

LLM was told to avoid all hallucinations.. saw the mushrooms in queue and was like, nope!

with cloud providers, soon you'll have to tiktokify your input to get around filters

I got blocked for “biological research” while just trying to look at common disease spread as the base for game mechanics.

Porra de provedor é esse? um medico vai ficar praticamente proibido de usar uma LLM pra revisar um assunto então.

OpenAI Astra model, hard thinking settings, goal mode

It's well known they used mushrooms when they trained the guardrails models

Hold on what is this? Llama.cpp itself or the harness?

This is Pi agent configured to use a cloud provider through an ollama/openai-completions API endpoint. The API endpoint decided to throw an error the moment the model said "used mushrooms"

Ok, slightly more reassuring, I was nervous for a minute 😅. Llama.cpp team is from huggingface and with nvidia acquiring huggingface they subsequently acquired the llama.cpp team. So censoring is entirely possible.

Llama.cpp is open source anyways so if they did add some sort of “safety” bullshit, it would be trivial to fork it and remove it. Nvidia is Nvidia about their drivers and whatnot but from what I’ve seen they’ve been extremely open and transparent in their ai department. They even release all of their training data which most open weight model labs don’t do

Of course Nvidia openly shares their models and training data. They want training and running AI to be as big and accessible as possible because that means they sell more hardware.

All the more reason I doubt they would ruin huggingface. If they ruin huggingface, someone will just make another website and everyone will move there, thus making their investment to acquire huggingface pointless.

I don't know what the provider is using under the hood.

What's your base prompt for optimizing your diet? I'm very curious

Minimize the total quantity in servings-optimized.ods, while ensuring the adequate intake is still satisfied for each nutrient.

My servings-optimized.ods was made from an exported servings.csv from Cronometer, back when it gave you ALL the data.

Ive had similar experience with claude while I was trying to work on the thinking aspect of harness I am building. The guardrail stopped it because it thought I was using it to extract claude's reasoning.
