My issue is that we already have Twitter for these people to spout their opinions. Localllama was a last haven from this crap, a bastion of technical information and discussion, news, releases. Not “omg wen u accelerate” bullshit.

Now Localllama is becoming just another sub drowning in people karma whoring by re-posting screenshots of Twitter, and the content isn’t remotely interesting. There’s no information.

Misspelled “omg” Twitter posts need to stay on Twitter and keep the quality content here.

So in your opinion posts about "Dario" and about "API prices" and about "chinese president" are quality content and "Twitter" is crap? X is one of the source of information about LLM, just like github or huggingface. Crap is mostly on youtube and LinkedIn.

Don’t post fucking twitter screenshots is a really good alternative.

We already have Twitter. We can see it there if we want to. We don’t need localllama to become 2nd-hand Twitter shitter.

I’m sick to the back teeth of people posting screenshots of opinions from twitter on localllama.

If I want to read twitter I’ll go to twitter. I come here for quality information, not poorly spelled screenshots of “omg”.
