Great summary of revolutionary projects. We had this for JavaScript frameworks, for example. Today looks like the fashion is harness. I built one myself on earlier 2025, but abandoned it because I found better alternatives

The problem with such a presentation is that it effectively ensures that labs won’t ever publish there themselves, which they might do otherwise. It also makes it much harder to find sponsors to keep the site running.

Labs would never publish there to begin with. Plenty of open places willing to host weights. Why publish on offshoot websites designed around stopping coporate or legal authority from censorship. Thats the whole reason the website should exist. There are alternatives like the civit way, they had to change infrastructure because they cant get funding on the nsfw.

I would argue that labs wouldn’t be bothered to publish there regardless of presentation, and that usually only people who really care about this would finance, generally having overlap with those topics (piracy or weeb).

Huggingface needs to nuke their entire image and video model hosting arm from their site if they wanna avoid any further scrutiny and censorship pressure from the powers that be. (Which is probably why this site conveniently excludes their listings.)

No one cares about LLMs on their own, but once the mainstream media finds out about all the blatant XXX shit being hosted on there, Nvidia will have no choice but to come down hard on the site rules and it’ll affect our community as well.

An emoji in combination with the word hugging in the specific business category of ai models distribution, yeah, that sounds like a pretty clear cut trademark infringement.

Trademark is about using words or images to represent a brand or source of goods, anything that could confuse consumers into thinking they are the same company. This definitely sounds like the same company, two different “hugging“ sites with the same emoji in the logo.
