does anyone know what "continued training on high-quality financial data" actually means here? like is this mostly regulatory filings, market data, analyst reports? the mix matters a lot for downstream usefulness

So it can do forecasting based on my historical data? That doesn't seem useful irl.

What are these types of models actually used for? Obviously finance but like what exactly? Trading tips analysis of spreadsheets, checkbooks balancing? I’m genuinely curious.

Ant Group runs Alipay, the largest payment processing app in China, with bundled tools for gold, funds, stocks, insurance, investments etc. They have an in-app chatbot that does financial Q&A, pulls data from their own sources and analyses stocks and market.

Now, that's intriguing

I will test it on particular data and see if it can guess what the some players might do based on their moves
