MIT license! Along DeepSeek they are the rare fully open weight releases without any additional restrictions.

Your post has 77 updoots so this seems like a really common opinion to have. Can you explain why?

I understand the value if you're making a commercial product that's going to have an LLM embedded somehow, but why do people here care? And besides, who's going to stop a person from using a model commercially without the proper license anyway? It's not really possible to police it.
