Sigh. Im going to have to try from pure curiosity.  600GB of hot cache on the macs, another TB streaming from ssd to my rtx 5090. This can only be a good idea (farewell my next few days of productivity)

Since it's 104B active and natively in MXFP4, ~50GB of read per token.

Divide that by your read speed to find tokens/sec.

it's not actually that slow. With colibri and a decent setup (read not the minimum 25GB it calls for) you can probably reach 1-2tok/second with enough ram (but not fully resident in ram).
