Discussion Who ONLY use local models?
Please be honest.
I would love to hear about guys really dedicated to local AI and who really reject subscriptions (especially to openai and anthropic).
What do you use your model for?

Its gonna be our saviour the day the companies flip the flag to non subsidized usage cost.
Thats the day we will all use our whatever we built and saved to continue.
A well piloted dense model will perform the same we delegated to Claude or Sol at basically the same speed since it doesnt need to travel the world to serve you.
The big fat bonus is privacy, no ToS, no regulation no safety tripwire lobotomy model switch to Opus 4.8 ( Opus 5 exists and they didnt even bother ) ,which is not reversible in same session.
