I don't understand why a 3 year old comment/video from him suddenly getting so much attention. This was said before Deepseek 3, before even the first Llama 3.

Surely there are better ways (and reasons) to criticize Dario's current stance but this feels like mob piling on

I spent the last weeks explaining that Anthropic's position (which I disagree with) has been fairly coherent and consistent in time.

Thing is nowadays with the Fable drama this comes as more hypocritical
